Too bad for New Jersey. Guess every gay couple that wants to get married will need to go to NYC. And book hotels and catered events there. Money lost in NJ. Not to mention couples who will move because now they know that their state won’t recognize them. Now they formally know. It’s a difference.
My state is eons and eons away from a vote. It’s not even on the radar here. All that gets headlines here is our dictator of a new governor who is “this close” to a recall. I’m working on it. Actively.
Neil keeps close tabs on Gov Walker. Love to see him tweeting about him. The guy is such a scumbag. He’s so conservative he could give lessons to people who call themselves conservative. Really scary.

On a positive note. I’ve been watching all day long. A marriage bill is working it’s way through the Maryland state government. As of late this afternoon it had passed the House chamber. mils the state I live in will never vote that in. This is a total red state!

Iowa is still hanging in there with Gay Marriage. It was a judicial decision that decided that to deny it was unconstitutional. As long as we can keep the house of Rep. Democratic controlled it will be okay. I think a lot of folks have decided there are more serious matters and it really hasn’t hurt anyone and I’m sure it’s made others happy. It’s kind of a non issue at present. Mils I have faith in you that you can help straighten out that mess you have . It has made for interesting reading tho. Love the relaxed but excited Adam. His interviews make me happy and hopeful.

I make tshirt quilts and I need one in my quilt room as an sample. So I started collecting shirts from the concerts I go to. We have a new venue near here that is bringing the b -list groups. Saw Joan Jett, Beach Boys and will go to 3 Dog Night. Not sure if I will get the current shirt I have a feeling there will be more to come.
Rainbowga,I sew but only clothing. Made a JC Superstar costume for a local production once! Tried quilting once…just couldn’t do it. I so admire those who can. A total Adam tee-shirt quilt could be fantastic!
Kinda feel bad for all the peeps in the audiences who wore glitter. But their shirts were more rhinestone. He’s done with glitter, but not necessarily rhinestone I think.
My sis recently made a quilt from rock and roll T-shirts. It turned out so cooool! And in the back of RS there is always an ad for a company that makes them for you out of your own collection.
The new shirt on ALF is not something designed for a female fan base of any age.

“ronnie” is a real piece of work on MJs too. Incredibly knee-jerk negative toward Adam. But honestly, I would prefer that we not bring MJs-related drama here. The Adam-haters at MJs are always going to be there and always spew their negativity for the slightest of reasons. We only give them energy by drawing attention to them. I’d like for this site to be a safe haven from the sniping and negativity. JMHO

I’ve been Googling the Kamea necklace Adam mentioned. All I can find is that the English word “Cameo” is based on the Hebrew Kamea. If the necklace is the pouch one, and it has a prayer tucked in it, it may be a Kabballah thing, in LA. I’m going to look some more.

Usually one can wear such a brooche as a pendant. I have one given to me by my Mom and I know that I can wear it both ways.

Oksana I have the same thing that belonged to my Grandmother also have one from a great aunt. I didn’t know that was what they are called. Thank you. I just love mine. The detail is soooo fine. I always worry about losing it when I wear it.

Mils, if your talking about the big 80 it’s the day taxs were due before they changed it to April 15th. That’s a sneaky way of not saying but you can find out it you want too. Taking John’s kids and mine to the local casino for lunch and renting a couple rooms so the kids can nap or swim. I’ll have my picture in the paper so I’ll try to post it here and you’ll see how Adam love and fandom keeps you young. Folks at work think I’m having more fun that they are. One of the bonuses was meeting other fans like you.
