Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    I just love what a good sport he is. The pace he’s keeping up would wear most people out. He was asked in a q&a if he was going to any Fashion Week shows. He was hoping to get to the Blonds show if he wasn’t too tired. He also said he was having a hard time finding time for the “friend” he brought with him. I sure he was talking about Sauli.

    I know, rainbowgal. This is what drives me nuts. Adam is such an incredibly hard worker who puts in so many extra hours to help support his music. With a Grammy nomination behind him and all the “extras” that he continually involves himself with to help promote his music….. Why is radio making him struggle so much just to be heard???

    I am so proud of him. He knows the score and he knows that he’s pushing the envelope. And he keeps going. In our own way we (I) have all done it the same way. It’s the only way attitudes change. What’s so maddening for me is all these djs get all the hits on their twitters, web pages, callers calling in and yet it’s not returned in the same manner. But things are changing (slower than I want) and his hard work will pay off.

    Ya know, everyone(industry peeps) that meets him is taken with his personality and talent, and he is treated like a star. I don’t get it either, it’s definitely an uphill battle for him.
    I guess he needs to visit every effing radio station in the country! Or at least hit most of the major markets, not just NY area and California.
    I don’t think he has ever even done a call in with the Top 40 station in Houston.

    luval You could be right. But I’m sure you’ve seen Adam’s twitter feed and read the comments following any item about Adam. These radio stations, etc don’t want to deal with the calls they get or the items written on their sites. I don’t think any one reason is the cause for not playing his records. But combine one or two and it might be the answer.

    And I do believe this is why I cringed so much at his opening comment on FUSE regarding Rihanna. I was thinking….. NOT ON TV! LOL, I also began to think about OUT magazine being on him again!! However like I said before, he cleaned it up and all was good. But yes, luval, in some people’s minds the AMAs of 2009 will never go away.

    And it so pisses me off, because women singers can sing and kiss other women all they want and its fine, they can be as sexy as they want and do even obscene stuff on TV and its ok. What the hell do they all have aganist Adam!!!There are gay singers that are doing fine, Elton John, Ricky Martin,Liberace in his time, everyone loves NPH, what the hell do they have aganist Adam. You know what, he needs to move to Europe and the hell with the bullS— that seems to be coming from the radio stations here. What else can be the problem., He is the best singer, hes not a druggie, he doesnt beat women, or anyone, nice to everyone that meets him, I just dont get it. Off soapbox. I hate reading all the hate on MJ’s that he is such a failure too. Sorry for rant!!!!!!!!!!

    dcglam, I wasn’t sure I heard him right when he said that. It didn’t seem attached to the rest of the introduction, like he hesitated first. Seemed like all of the introductions were prepared (certainly not adlibbed) and he was reading a teleprompter. I wonder if that was written too, and he hesitated when he saw it, looked kind of embarrassed and started walking off…..Did you tape it? I think it’s on again, I’m going to look for it and pay more attention.
    Just doesn’t seem right. First, she wouldn’t have that effect on him. Second, just doesn’t seem like something he would say….

    I felt that he veered from the script, yet once again, but then cleaned it up by saying he was kidding after walking off the set. The rest of the show couldn’t have been any more perfect. I’m sure we will eventually get video of it.

    against Adam and his fans…Adam fans always stand alone against them all.

    Re the Fuse comment, I was laughing so hard! It wasn’t that serious, and that was the only comment of the kind in the show. Adam will have more episodes coming up in the series too!

    Fuse wasn’t live and it could have been edited but it wasn’t that bad, IMO.

    Don’t know if any of you read Angelina Kalahari’s recap of the London showcase she went to. (I think she’s that opera singer that always talks about Adam’s vocal technique).

    Anyway, she had a little chat with Kevin:

    “After the showcase, I had an opportunity to chat to Kevin. I told him that I really liked the way his voice blends with Adam’s and he seemed genuinely pleased to hear that. I believe Etty and Lucy told him the same thing, so hopefully, he doesn’t have a big head now!

    In answer to my questions, he said that singing with Adam was like nothing he’d ever experienced, that he viewed Adam’s voice as a legitimate instrument in its own right, and that he was in awe of the fact that during rehearsals Adam sometimes goes off into lots more improvs and does stuff he could never even have imagined vocally possible. He laughed and said he couldn’t even try to go there, and that he just sticks to the notes.”
