Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    Wonderful things tonight. Z100, comic strip & love the UK interview! Hope it does appear on youtube. Thanks nkd for all that! Oh, and BTIKM music video, itunes number 1?!

    eta: In regards to that comic strip where there’s a reference to Queen. My goodness that performance catapulted him way up! Just wish it would result in BTIKM sales!

    Regarding the Z100 performance….
    I just can’t say enough good things about the acquisition of Kevin Hastings as the newest band member. I am in awe of the guy and his talent. Perfect, perfect match for Adam!

    I’ve heard WWFM on the radio quite a bit in the last couple weeks. I wonder if they are trying to create a buzz for Adam before playing the new song. Why not just play the new song? Either way, I’m just glad to hear Adam on the radio.

    I think he moved to Warner Bros records because I was following RCApromo and then suddenly I was following WarnerBrospromo. Smeggs told me that she thought RCAed had moved and took the twitter account with him!
    The new person is RCApnelson, I think.
    RCA and Sony have yet to tweet that the video is on itunes.

    Loved Adam in that Z100 interview, and I liked the interviewer but feel that she hadn’t really done her homework, felt she got a few things wrong.
    and loved the BTIKM performance, and the vocals for WWFM, not sure about the guitar though, it seemed off to me.

    Oh yeah, you’re probably right HK fan…about itunes. Thought maybe he might have time on this east coast promo to visit Toronto.

    And I agree with you about that Z100 interview. That woman was not prepared…don’t know where she got some information, and Adam obviously didn’t either….good vs evil…who won…new years’ resolution, etc. I’ll bet she never even saw the video.

    eta…just check itunes…holding at number 3. Maybe it’s been fluctuating in the top 3. Not sure if it ever really was number 1 here. I just don’t get that LMFAO being number 1!

    It’s true, ya’ll, BTIKM video was #1 briefly yesterday, don’t know for how long though. When I went on iTunes to buy it and gift to my two teen granddaughters it was #1! But I have no idea how to do a screencap, and anyway had just seen the one on Twitter so figured it was taken care of.
    Three hours later it was back to #3 (I went in to take a look). But #3 is good too. And, it continues to get views on Vevo and VH1.
    And the song is slowly but steadily moving up on HAC and getting spins. This week of promo should help some.
    I don’t really expect heavy TV promo until the actual album comes out (hopefully in this decade lol)!

    ETA: STILL #3 this morning!!

    Nobody knows patience than I do.
    My baby was 4 days over due. And then I was in labour all day. By midnight I had to push for 2 hrs. The little rat didn’t budge. They had to cut me open for C-section to get her out.
    Stubborn since day one, but my little angle is worth every pain and stitches. Heart

    The WPLJ interview is one of the best in the last couple of days and the vocals on the two songs were just amazing. I thought the guitar in WWFM seemed just a tad off or out of tune or something when the song started but then improved as the song went on.

    Loved the dj’s comments on his hair, his voice…no autotune, one of the best they’ve ever had there. And was interesting to hear Adam talk about how he heard about Whitney. Also meeting Sauli, his theater background (haven’t heard that in quite a while).

    haha nkd…was thinking the same thing about him sitting there. The Audio at that studio was the best I’ve heard on this whole promotion. And loved watching his right hand swaying throughout the songs. And that face….looking more gorgeous this morning than ever! Dressed in black…the curled lip at the beginning of WWFM, Elvis, Detail Mag james Dean, sexiest man alive look, if you ask me.

    Hope we get some vids of Fuse. Don’t have it here. Wonder if Adam is going to anything at Fashion week? I looked at the schedule the other day and the designers didn’t look like anything Adam might go for. IMO.

    Ralph Lauren & Calvin Klein tomorrow close the week but I don’t think they are Adam’s cup of tea.

    Btw, that’s a Cumulus station..aren’t they supposedly the ones that don’t play Adam? They sure were complimentary though.

    I just love what a good sport he is. The pace he’s keeping up would wear most people out. He was asked in a q&a if he was going to any Fashion Week shows. He was hoping to get to the Blonds show if he wasn’t too tired. He also said he was having a hard time finding time for the “friend” he brought with him. I sure he was talking about Sauli.

    I just finished watching the tape of this on my TV. I have to admit that I cringed a bit at Adam’s opening comment about Rihanna’s video. I’m wondering if something was said to him as he walked off because he quickly came back with “I’m just kidding”.
    The rest of the hour was pure gold. As I have mentioned before, he is a natural in everything he attempts. He has the most adorable and lovable personality. This all came through on FUSE, big time!! Of course, the extra bonus for me was when he introduced the video for IIHY. Big Smile
