Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    loveroftalent, I went back to MJs and you are right,it is so funny, these two people liking each other comments, but no one else..
    Aren’t they Durb and Scotty fans? I’m too lazy to go thru their activity page, that would show their preference in Idols.

    The thing is Clive Davis made his decision to carry on with the Pre-Grammy gala from the wishes of Whitney’s family. They wanted the evening to continue as planned and said that Whitney also would have wanted that. So, if Carrie chose not to attend that is a personal decision and is fine — does not make her a class act, IMO. One could also make the argument that she was going against the family’s wishes, but she may have not been aware. There also seems to be a lot of hate going on right now towards Jennifer Hudson, who has been selected for the Whitney tribute tonight. Many peeps feel she isn’t right for the part. My hat totally goes off to the girl for pulling this off on such short notice!!

    I think you guys are right, if Carrie had went to it, it would have been a great thing to do, because of her love for Whitney and needing to share her grief. But because Adam went and Carrie tweeted that she didn’t feel comfortable going, Adam and all of the rest of the guest are lower than snail’s poop.

    Good Morning All –

    I used to read mjs blog all the time, but not so much any more. Mostly because of what loveroftalent and Oksana write about. The fan wars are just so useless. Like my son who’s around the Apple, pc fights all the time says it just as simple as – Do you like Coke or Pepsi. No more important than that. And I am really disappointed in mj – always felt like she was better at maintaining a balance. Didn’t do it perfect but I could handle the comments against Adam when there were just a few. It’s all so childish.

    asifclueless – Damn you burst my “youth” bubble!! Pain I’ve been telling everyone that the backs of my hands were freckles, just like Adam’s! Thank you bring up those dreaded (whispers) brown spots! Wilt

    And Prince of Wails INDEED!!

    Now of to finish my painting and cleaning. Come hell or high water I’m not doing this again tomorrow!!

    I have my issues with Jennifer, because she makes every song sound like it’s a soundtrack from a movie. I think she’s overexposed and sings at every awards show and any memorial or commemoration. But she was good friends with Whitney and she’s more than capable of giving a good performance, so I have no problem with her being chosen, but I do wish with the gathering of some of the best singers in the world this weekend, that they could have added a few more besides her.

    I am not a fan of JHud, she really turns me off, but I saw this last night where she sang IWALY at the BETs honoring Whitney. Whitney seemed to love it, so I feel that perhaps she is the appropriate choice for tonight, especially considering the short time frame to put this together.

    Numbers update:

    BTIKM holds at #32 on the 7 day rolling Hot AC chart. Spins still increasing – 459 vs 354 a week ago for +105 move. Adam is stuck in a very competitive portion of the chart at the moment though.

    Still no sign of BTIKM on the Top 40 chart, and its spin increase there is quite small.

    Another week’s worth of Hot AC adds will report on Monday, followed by Top 40 adds on Tuesday.

    Ron, HI!!! Adam is not at the Grammys. He’s on his way to New York or could be there already. Lots of east coast promo and it’s Fashion week in NYC! Wish I was there. Had I know ahead of time I would have made it a point to be there one or two days.
