Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    Dear Adam: Then, how do you explain the documented LYRIC FAIL on two, possibly three, recent occasions? Hmmmmmm??

    Here is my thought. Adam has spent the past year concentrating totally on his new music. I’ll bet he did not even rehearse WWFM for these gigs, thinking that “Oh yea I know that song…. I’ve sung it a million times”. I would think that his rehearsal focus for these gigs was on the new album songs only.

    Calgary, thanks for bringing the link down. Even though the heading mentions Adam Fashion faux pas, etc., the video that starts is Charlie Wilson of Gap Band. That happened on this link as well as when I tried it before. Can’t get to Adam. Maybe I can Google it someway and get another link (or whatever).

    ETA: Just pulled it up on Google. Watching now. Great first minute. Now for the rest of it…..

    Question: tried to download the MSN full interview with Downloadhelper; it shows a billion little vids in a queue to download, probably because it is so long – anyone know of another site for it that would be easier to download?

    maybe the album will be delayed a bit because of the Bruno Mars song, it seems to be a late addition, as he wasn’t sure it was going to make the cd before.

    I’m thinking that a colab won’t be with Xristina, Adam hasn’t mentioned her in a long time in interviews when asked who he adnires or who he’d like to work with. Jessie J seems to be his favourite st the moment, and I think they would look great together.

    This is really sweet. In a snip of his interview for InRock magazine, Adam talks about how transformative, powerful, and important it was for him when he met Sauli. Love.

    Geez they are going to have to do some quick thinking for Grammys tomorrow night…tributes, etc. She was supposed to be at the Clive Davis party tonight.

    If I were one of the Grammy producers I’d be freaking right now.

    I don’t think I’ve ever heard Adam say the words “Whitney Houston”, although he loves all the divas.

    The red carpet should be starting soon for the Clive Davis party. How awkward this and everything else between now and tomorrow is going to be. No details yet but I guess she was found at the Beverly Hilton Hotel by her close friend RayJay.

    Man. MJ’s is about to crash, so much traffic over there. There has been a lot of trash talk about Whitney there in the last couple days, with her run in with Stacey Francis and the rumor of her being an XFactor judge. I just looked at those threads, not one positive comment.

    Sad.

    Drugs. Addiction. Anorexia. Wife abuse. And that poor daughter.

    I only really know Whitney from The Bodyguard, she was great in that, so beautiful,one of my favourite movies. Have never really listened to her apart from that. Still, very sad news, but like Amy Winehouse not totally unexpected.

    I have so many memories of Whitney and her music. I just loved her back in the day, she was so cute, sweet, articulate and talented. She was everywhere. And, when she sang the national anthem, I remember they sold it as a single and it had a lot of radio play.

    Unfortunately, I did see her front row center at what I think was her first tour. I hate to say it, but, she was absolutely awful. She stood stick still clutching the mic stand, had on a tight black leather jacket and leather pants, and it was at an outdoor covered venue and about 90 degrees out. She had a huge white bath towel around her neck, and had an absolute case of flop sweats, and was dripping, absolutely literally dripping wet. Her voice was off too. This was in either ’87 or ’88. No, it was ’87.

    Despite that, I remained a fan until she really lost her voice and made all the headlines about drugs. I saw her on Oprah, but turned it off after the first 15 minutes, I just couldn’t watch her try to explain her life. I just feel so sorry for her daughter, for the life of being not only a celebrity’s daughter, but of an addict as well.

    So just saw Adam on the Red Carpet. Beautiful. Looked like his hair was all black, no flames. Now I can go to bed. Up early tomorrow. In the little interview it made it sound like he was going tomorrow because they asked “who are you looking forward to?” He said Adele….no mention that he wasn’t going to be there. Didn’t see Sauli. Maybe he was off screen.

    Yay! Got to see/hear Adam on the red carpet. They think they have a scoop about him singing with Queen. @@ He looked almost conservative tonight. I thought it was funny that when the interviewer started that someone leaned forward and told her Adam Lambert. That’s when I knew he had to be close and she was going to talk to him! I’m impressed he was early tonight.

    Hi All – mils Although I never got to see Whitney perform in person my memories of her are so strong. My daughter and I shared a love of her voice through her teen age years. Sometimes, during her “terrible teens” Whitney in song and on film would be a common ground for us. I’ve prayed for her so many times hoping she could conquer her demons. Now she will rest in peace. My heart goes out to her daughter. I hope she gets the healthy support she needs at this time.

    Adam looks gorgeous, looks like he had his eyebrows shaped, and the hair trimmed and darkened, still see flames, but not so severe. He just looks classy. Less guyliner and no gloves still. Love that.

    The whole mood of the place seems somber, watching that live feed for a while. So awkward, but good to see egos in check.

    Watched a bunch of Whitney vids tonight. So very sad.

    Watching the MTV program. What a trip down memory lane. So strange to see Whitney so young.

    And ADAM – Wow what can I say. He not only looks good but his soul energy is so powerful. It catches my breath every time.
