Good morning!! I read through the late posts last night and was slightly depressed about things. Radio not playing, Adam may never be an American star, etc.
But today’s a new day. I’m not that concerned about the release of Trespassing. What I don’t want is it to conflict with Madonna, Springsteen, maybe Eminem? I hope it roles out with a bang whenever that is. I’ll bet Adam is nervous, though.
People here at work know who Adam is of course because of me. But outside if that I don’t know I’ll bet, however, they don’t know who either of the davids are.
Whew, now Adam has admitted the faux pas over the Kentucky Fried chickens guys tie, I can finally admit, I never liked that outfit either….
Morning luval, I was happy to hear that the Bruno Mars collaboration is going to be on the album. Not sure it is just the song he helped write or if Bruno will actually be performing as well. If it is the latter I think that could be a win for Adam and getting his name out there. Having a strong international fan base is critical for Adam at this point and maybe in the long run. As long as he has that he will be able to keep making music and performing. Periodic gigs with Queen should help as well.
Whenever I worry about Adam I laugh. He is happy, in love, has enough money, and doing what he was meant to do. Wish I could say that about myself.

Good Morning All – thanks adamized for posting that Lyndsey interview. I could listen to both of them for a long long time. She asks good questions and you can tell he loves talking with her. I too can’t help smiling and laughing whenever I see and hear anything Adam. What makes it doubly enjoyable is when my parrot joins me in laughing. I think secretly he’s an Adam fan!!

Loved that Lyndsey interview. She can be counted on to ask questions that haven’t been asked before, or to ask a question in a new way/with a new spin, and to inject a little humor where it suits.
I’ve started a new project…too many interviews, so many of them wonderful! I want to save most of them, but they are taking a LOT of space on my hard drive, and I actually worry about crashing my computer which has happened to so many of us (me, too, but fortunately it wasn’t catastrophic).
And there is so much Adam on my itunes that if I did a random shuffle it would be mostly Adam, and I don’t actually listen to Adam’s music very much. I definitely don’t want to listen to (for example)Citizen Vein, but I want to keep it as historical material and there it is clogging my itunes. Yes, I know I could make playlists yada yada but don’t want to bother and it would need to keep being updated.
So I took a deep breath and am moving everything Adam to a separate external hard drive, and I will save everything new there from here out.
Fingers crossed and holding my breath that things don’t get lost or corrupted on their merry way through the USB umblical cord! Wish me luck!
Kradamour I wish you good luck in your adventure! You have given me some new things to think about. Just the other day I was wondering how to catalog all the songs I have in itunes before this new album, tour, etc hits. It’s a bit of a mess. So I think you are on to something.

kradamour, I have been planning to do this too. I actually went to Office Depot just before my mom died and talked to a guy about the project. I had gone last Spring (on a snow day here in Mississippi) and bought a 2Terrabyte GoFlex Drive thinking I would save all Adam stuff to that. But, dumb as I am about technology, the one I bought is a constant backup and therefore everything is on it. I needed the constant backup too, so I decided to let it stay and get another type that the Office Depot guy recommended and transfer just Adam stuff there and then continue to save new stuff there.
Please keep us posted about this–we all may need tutoring. Are you really “skeered” now at the prospect of that tutoring assignment?
I tried just now to watch the Lindsey interview that was posted, but it has been deleted. The next interviewee came on then automatically before I got the window closed out. Oksana, I also heard that that was the Bruno song that would be on the album, and also that some changes were made to it.
BUT – that said, I don’t think the “collab” that Adam mentioned will be with Bruno, I think it’s someone else. He said he thought people would be surprised about it. We already knew there was a Bruno song.

Oh, thanks so much, Oksana – the first screen when I go into VH1 had Top20 but no Adam. After I checked “Voting” another screen came up with him on it. Did 40 today – FF & Chrome – working on IE.
