Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

    Still a mystery to me why the European promo was done when it was – Adam was pretty much out of the country for 2 weeks right after the impact date for the single

    Agree. Hopefully a new single here in the next few weeks before the album.

    But here’s a comment from the MSN interview that should warm the cockles of our hearts:

    As things stand now, Adam has a large and loyal fanbase. We reckon this album will make him the world’s biggest male solo star – and deservedly so.

    I noticed this from the MSN interview when Adam was asked about not liking songs “I don’t want to be touring “NEXT YEAR” & singing a song I’m not crazy about”.

    So no tour this year? Or 2012 just started so maybe next year means this year? Smile

    eywflyer,like you I’m scratching my head trying to figure out what are RCA plans. I understand release of the single before Xmas due to the BegForMercy mess. But then ,what? Going for adds month later? All the momentum of initial sales on iTunes and charting was totally lost due to Finlands brouhaha. Video is great, but is not played anywhere.
    Did overseas promo help BTIKM being played on the UK radio?
    Everybody says that RCA knows better what it’s doing than us, but I begin to have doubts. Choosing FYE as a first single was wrong, choosing The Truth for Kris second single was wrong, Kelly C. first single needed a ton of promo, AMA performance including.

    So Adam is doing backstage at the Grammys but isn’t going to the Grammys? Maybe he actually will. Want to see him on the red carpet again!

    Does this mean I have to have a Facebook page? How do I get one and what kind of info do I have to put on it. This is very irritating to me who is not that into these social pages. Was it Kradamore who has a very basic page? I really would like to vote if possible.

    Apal123. Yes Facebook or twitter. I have an account for both and never use them. It’s easy to sign in. Facebook.com or twitter.com.

    luval, with the Japan event now announced for August and given the album timing, we pretty much know that a tour would not begin before late August at the soonest. I would guess that a tour might begin in the fall then run through winter/spring 2013. So part of the tour would be “next year”, but I wouldn’t take that comment as meaning the tour won’t BEGIN until next year.

    Site note – the toaster oven is up for grabs again as we are approaching overall comment number 20,000! It could happen tonight, almost certainly by tomorrow.

    Comment #10,000 happened in mid October, so less than 4 months ago. It took us 5 1/2 months (early May to mid October) to reach 10,000 comments, so traffic is increasing!

    The site has also set new montly pageview records for the past three months in a row. Running over 50,000 pageviews per month now, and near 2,000 on most days.

    So I see March 20th is probably out the window. On That96.5 interview Adam says either March or April…they haven’t pinned it down yet.

    apal123 I have both and if I can make them happen at my “tender young age” I think you won’t have a problem. I voted on both and I like the old system so much better. With all us Glamberts voting twitter will go nuts and so will facebook. In fact voting on facebook will probably drive my friends crazy!

    So if we vote through facebook, vh1 posts on our facebook page that we just voted for Adam Lambert on vh1 Top 20 Countdown? That’s embarrassing! What if we vote multiple times – do they post it on our page multiple times?

    I just voted..20 times only per day. I voted once on facebook. My real name showed up! So from now on I’ll use twitter where I have a fake name. Smile I don’t tweet and I only follow adam & sauli so it doesn’t matter.

    Wow, that backstage at the Grammy thing is really intense. So much happening. Adam answering the same questions over and over. And the hair!!! I hope it all pays off.

    My thoughts on album release. If BTIKM takes off then they will stay with the March 20th date. If they need to release a new single, they may push the album back so the single can get established. Or not!!

    I do not have Facebook and don’t want it. I also don’t have twitter. I hate that I can’t support an artist, enter a contest, or sometimes even look at pictures, without an social networking account.

    Whew…. so much going on! I just got home from working all day and a dinner out. First of all, thank you for the numbers update, eywflyer. Your analysis of the situation seems to be spot on! Secondly, what is up with this VH1 voting??? I have neither a Facebook nor a Twitter account. In the past I have always put in many, many, many votes weekly for Adam’s videos. This is nuts!!!

    For anyone who doesn’t have a facebook or twitter account I would recommend twitter. It asks almost nothing to sign up and you can use alias so no one will ever find you if you don’t tell them who you are. If I remember your e-mail is the only thing that identifies you and that of course is for twitter’s account info. You never have to use it…ever. Of course you can follow anyone (like Adam). But he tweets few and far between.

    Facebook to me is so out there. It tells you right off to use your real name, asks too much.

    So don’t be skeerd. Try twitter. YOu can always delete your account.

    I just signed up for a twitter account. It’s pretty simple when you have a 19 year old son helping you. He didn’t even eye roll when I told him I just wanted it so I could vote for my boyfriend. My family never calls him Adam only Mom’s boyfriend. So I put my 20 votes in.
