Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

Do we know if he was nauseous along with his fever/dizziness?

Didn’t he say he had a stomach flu or something? It didn’t sound pleasant.
I think Kevin described it as food poisoning but the band had it a couple of days before Adam. So Adam must have gotten it from them, and I heard reports of some of the people at the Stockholm showcase came down with it also.

So BTIKM is actually doing a bit better than WWFM did to this point on Hot AC adds, but running well behind on Top 40 adds. WWFM went into the Christmas freeze for the next couple of weeks back in 2009, so BTIKM will have a chance to catch up.

We need to start seeing more movement on Top 40 soon though. WWFM was added very early (even before the AMAs) by the two largest Top 40 stations KIIS (Los Angeles) and WHTZ (New York), which really helped the song’s rise up the chart. So far the only large market stations to add BTIKM are WIOQ Philadelphia, and Sirius XM 20 on 20 (which is playing it heavily – 65 spins in the past week).

We are comparing apples to oranges here a bit, since as I recall Adam was doing all U.S. promo during this time in late November and early December 2009, while this time around he has been in Europe for much of the last couple of weeks. Hopefully Adam’s return to U.S. promo plus heavy video airplay on VH1 during the next several weeks will help.

But kidding aside, I actually find these comparisons very interesting. I have thought before that in some ways I am betting on Adam as if he was a (hot-blooded ) race horse.

eywflyer, thanks for this info–well, really all of it. I’ve been listening in on the wrong XM stations. Been listening on KIIS (LA I guess) and Z100 (NY I guess)?? Not sure of those locations. I will get on 20 on 20 later today and see if I can hear it. I always get giddy the first time I hear one of his songs on the radio.

Ron, I know you’ve gone to bed already and so had I. Woke up hungry and had to have a snack (crackers, cheese, and Dark Chocolate) and check in here. That card from your cousin is really neat. well, my soon to be 10yo (next week) definitely really likes BTIKM. The other day when I was picking her up from school, she brought her friend over to the car and played it on my Ipod for her friend to listen too (thats 2 different friends she’s done that for now), and today we were in the car listening to my ipod which is normally just on shuffle when she said could she pick a song, as there was a song that keeps going round in her head, and she can’t stop singing it, a few seconds later BTIKM started, and she looked at me and smiled!!!

Love BTIKM acoustic. It’s beautiful and Adam sings it with raw emotion and tenderness. It reminds me of what Smokey said to Adam about singing “Tracks of My Tears” differently and tenderly.

When I first heard their last question, I thought ..WTH !?!?

One of the djs asked Adam if he would like to see his p*n*s (the dj’s) now.

Then I learnt that they interviewed Adam before and they were shirtless. Also they were talking about body parts at the beginning of the interview.

Adam was quick and witty with his answer, but I don’t know if the djs got it or not. The answer was so American that I had to ask my DH to explain.

Adam said, “I think I’ll take the 5th on that.”

I’m really far behind so I don’t know if this had been posted. But it’s worth watching it again. Adam is so adorable.
Bravo in Germany presented him a birthday cake.

fwachdr, ~~I’m seeing the same thing – video does not exist. This sucks – hope they don’t make it worse by resetting the views to zero when they get around to fixing this.~~

JOJOSIE … I’m using my old desk top now as my laptop had to go to the Dr.(Computer Reboot) I feel very lucky to have two computers as I feel I may be addicted them as well as Adam, oh and this blog also.

I was in an agony when my laptop was in service. When I got it back, I had to start everything all over again.

I’d like to warn you guys to be careful about clicking on everything Adam. I’ve heard quite a few people have their computers crashes.
I don’t know about you, but I was so gullible. Ever since I had mozilla, my laptop got weired. I clicked and saved too many things Adam.

I shouldn’t be the one who warned you because I don’t know much about computer. I know only Microsoft Word and then come here to this site, mj’s, 24/7 News, and a few sites wherever somebody puts up the links.

I always call my Hubby for rescue. When he starts to explain the problems to me, I don’t know sh*t from shinola.

Hubby: Your virus protection is out of date. You need to download an up date … blah…blah…blah…..
Me : Waah…waah…waah…..
Hubby: You download too many videos and..blah..blah..blah…
Me : Waah…waah…waah…..
Hubby: You have many cookies …blah…blah…blah…..
Me : Waah…wa.. Cookies!!! … I like cookies!!! Are they chocolate chips or oatmeal?

jojosie, the same thing happened to me about 9 months ago – I got a Trojan virus that completely killed my hard drive. I don’t open all the links anymore – can’t afford to have that happen again.
