Another month has arrived, the last one before Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! February will hopefully see Adam’s lead single “Better Than I Know Myself” continue to gain airplay and sales. There should be a bump from the music video which is expected early this month. Meanwhile Adam will likely continue working on promo events in preparation for his upcoming album release, which is slated for March 20 here in the US. Perhaps with more promo being done ahead of the album release this time around, the next tour can begin by this summer? Enjoy the chat!

Update 2/4/2012: BTIKM music video was released Thursday night, feel quite certain we’ll be seeing plenty of it on VH1 in the next few weeks!

Ever since someone mentioned the crime scene tape at the end of the BTIKM video, I’ve watched the video multiple times to look for it. EVERY time I get distracted by Adam and forget to look by the time I get to the end of the video. What an attractive man, and what a powerful video!

from AQD…from a person at the UK showcase

The venue was tiny and very fancy (…with free wine \o/ ) only about 50ish people there and was completely full. I was worried that being a ~showcase full of media the crowd might be kind of crappy and more interested in the freebies at the bar, but as soon as Adam came on the atmosphere was just as electric as any GNT shows I’ve been to (…but minus the screaming Glamberts with their cameras at the front) – lots of media fanboys were getting really into it and singing along \o/

Set was same as Austria show, vocals totally flawless. Adam sat on a stool for most of the set but stood up and shook his thing to Trespassing, which is sooooooo good live and even acoustically you can tell it’s a Pharrell song, beat is super-danceable. OOL was so haunting, sang wrong words in 1st verse of WWFM but idt anyone noticed. The acoustics of the room & sound system were way better than some of the other venues I’ve seen Adam at (Shepherds Bush Empire sound was SHIT) anda pro FILMED THE WHOLE SET

you’re welcome i didn’t watch all the Austria vids, but from what i did watch the London crowd was way better. there were a few ppl sitting at tables around the outside but the majority were standing around the stage & seemed to be getting into it – would say Trespassing got the best reaction but none of the songs felt ~flat

Adam was doing the whole networking thing and talking to everyone, didn’t want to bug him so just had quick chat & goodbye before we left. spoke to some media ppl afterwards & all said great stuff about Adam & sounded generally positive about his UK promo and what a nice guy he is DD tried to get some gossip out of the Flaunt mag guy (…who was pretty hot) about the shoot, but he would only let on that it was ‘incredible’ and ‘different’

This is a good thing when it’s a video of a performance that will never be for sale. But when it’s a recording of music that is for sale or a music video, it also means that, unfortunately, it’s easy for people to steal them.

Kradamour LOL I think you are the first one to bring it up. But you are right it is a concern. I am hoping it was really colored water because that was a lot of juice to get out of that pomegranate.

Anyone else think that Light Adam was a double when sitting by the broken glass at the end and standing by the mirror tossing the pomegranate, and watching dark Adam pour out Tequila? Doesn’t look like the back of Adam to me. I know they can double shoot the scene and have Real Adam playing both parts but some parts look like a double to me. Just something else to speculate on and a reason to watch a few ~~100~~ more times, for research ya know.

I had certainly noticed how he held that pomegranate far out in front of himself so as not to get anything on the coat. Even Dark Adam has his priorities straight.

I woke up a bit before 3am and watched the vid on my iphone. Have to admit that I thought some of the dark Adam acting was pretty funny. It wasn’t until I got in front of the computer and experienced the beauty of both sides of BB did I begin to really appreciate the vid. Now after watching it many many times I can say that I love it. I especially love when light Adam is trying to get dark Adam to connect with him and the times when light Adam is looking at dark Adam with both sadness and compassion. It made me see what Adam could be like as a Dad with a wayward son.

Big sigh. Just love that boy!

adamized, I too just love the facial expressions of light Adam, they are priceless – when he’s tossing the ball/orange (?) the quizzical expression, shaking his head at pouring the liquor on the floor…and there’s that one frown early in of dark Adam that’s just fab too.

One thing I noticed–Light Adam seemed to be at peace. He was writing, singing, dancing a bit, doing yoga meditation, drinking herbal tea. Yet he seemed to long for a little excitement, looking wistfully out the window, and trying to befriend Dark Adam with overtures (sharing the pomegranate, offering to play chess) But Dark Adam was tormented, jealous, and self-destructive. He tried to prove how unlovable he was by trying to anger peaceful Adam, but could not rile him. When Dark Adam smears the eye makeup it seems that he is in tears–and has a breakthrough, realizing that he is hurting the best part of him. He has to reach out to accept the peace and love to become a whole person, and to balance those moments of torment. Light Adam also has to accept his Dark side to exist outside of his own self-imposed prison. This is a very thought-provoking video.

This is an awesome video. I was lukewarm about BTIKM initially, but the video totally sells the song for me. I think that will be the case for a lot of people. By far the most artistic and thought provoking video Adam has done – I would be surprised if this isn’t up for some video awards.

That cracked me up. Happy to hear about your TV Kradamour. Just think you only have to give it up for about 4 hours tomorrow then it belongs to Adamlove. One question, will it fit in the corner?

LOL Kradamour, congratulations are in order. Now you wll have almost life-size Adam to ~~ogle~~ look at.

Someone over at MJs mentioned that there is a ton of symbolism in this video, from the Pomegranate, to the white horse (that one we caught) to the left/right hand thing to the chessboard, maybe more that I can’t remember. Anyway, I just want to wallow in the beauty of Adam and not be bothered with analyzing. Maybe later…..a few months from now…….
