2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

Back from Lion King, a few dollars donated to Broadway Cares..the show was simply wonderful. I’m the dork who had tears in her eyes at the Circle of Life in the beginning…I just missed my sons so much. They’re away at school, and I have never seen or heard anything Lion King without them. It hit me during the song.
What a great night at the theater. Many of the cast were from the original Broadway production. Scar really stood head and shoulders above everyone else except Rafiki and Timon. These were also Broadway originals.
Now, I need to get tix to Book of Mormon. All I can think is that this will deplete my Adam fund a bit. But, seriously, I just can’t miss this when it is in my city.
The food ( steamed New Zealand mini lobster, Black truffle roast duck, and Sliced blue abalone in Hakka sauce) and the Michelin star awarded restaurant that Adam went reminds me of a movie I went to last month. “The Hundred-Foot Journey”, the movie based on Richard C. Morais’s best-selling debut novel. The movie is out on Blu-ray at Costco that I’ll get a copy.
Recommended to you all if you love artsy movie and FOOD.

Helen Mirren is a food snob Madame Mallory who owns Le Saule Pleureur, a Michelin-starred, classical French restaurant.

There is an art cinema one block from my house where I am able to see tons of limited release movies. We are so fortunate to have it! The owners unfortunately are also 29, and we are very nervous about its future but hoping for the best.

Anyway, LL has been doing “Speed-the-Plow” on stage in London since October. Not great reviews, but hasn’t closed either. Finishing up now, I believe, but she has something else lined up, and per Wicki, plans to stay in London. Haven’t read of any “incidents” in London….maybe she’s finally got it together. Hope so, I always thought she had talent and that it was a shame she was going through so much stuff. I seem to remember she was at Adam’s first BD party just after Idol, too, so not a new acquaintance.
Whatever, he’s a big boy and I try to remind myself, he’s adorable but he’s also naughty and no angel (thank goodness lol). And she’s not a romantic interest, plus remember he defended Miley too. Maybe he finds damaged people interesting. He’s certainly been through enough shit to identify with people having media issues.
