2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

    That last photo of Adam is his best look that I like, the little bit of curl, the little bit of shaved sides, but not to much like some people were doing, and the little bit of scruff, not too much, I just love this look, ya I have been looking at it a lot! So handsome! Laugh

    Thanks for the warning luval otherwise I would be picking myself up from the floor right now. Both of the pictures are unbelievable. Love how cool Roger and Brian are, enveloping Adam, protecting him and feeding off of his energy, saying “We are one, ain’t nothing separating us now!”

    How many more times am I going to say, how could one human being be so gorgeous?

    I love those team Rock photos, of all of them, but especially that one of Adam….just stunning, best one I’ve seen for a long time. Definitely a contender for January’s top pic….I have always loved that jacket too.

    The article is good, but not sure I care for this paragraph:

    Many singers have stood in for Mercury since his death, from the blues-rocking Paul Rodgers to pop star Jessie J at the Olympics Closing Ceremony. But Lambert has one possible advantage over his predecessors: he is extravagantly gay, in a way Mercury chose to imply blatantly. This seems to give his performances an authentic connection to Mercury, which Queen have lacked since 1991.

    Really? I would think his amazing voice is his main advantage, and his theatricality. Neither of which are necessarily gay, which to me the writer is equating with stereotyped effeminate – wears guy liner, makeup, glamorous clothes. He is very masculine even when pretending during KQ. I don’t think these writers ever look at YT comments or A’s Twitter feed to see all the female flailing. Whatever.
    Roger and Brian’s replies seemed somewhat puzzled and nonplussed at that suggestion. Even Adam’s.

    It’ll be interesting once the NYE show and tour have commenced to read comments from the die-hards. I wonder how many will simply be floored by Adam. Absolutely gobsmacked like we are.

    On another note. Mama wants a tax deduction. And to support Charity Water again. It was an excellent charity. Who has the link for Adam’s page?

    A lot of interesting things in that Team Rock article. But I agree riskylady, that gay paragraph was certainly not my fave either.

    Parts about new Queen music and Brian & Roger’s hesitation were interesting. I can understand it, Cosmos rocks was not any special (I’ve listened to it). But one way or other, I would love to see what that combo with Adam could create. They should try it (going to studio and experiment a little) and see what happens. It doesn’t have to be full album (or Queen album…). Of course first Adam has to finish and market his own era 3 product – which we anxiously are waiting for Wink .

    I haven’t searched background info when listening to Queen’s music, but I have a feeling that songs I like a lot are often written by Freddie or Brian. I love so many of those ballads on Queen Forever Deluxe (I noticed from the booklet there’s hardly any Roger’s songs). I also love Adam with ballads or acoustic, because nothing interferes that voice. I adore many sexy fun or powerful rocky songs, but they don’t touch as deep as stripped down songs with less instruments. There are so many Queen songs I would love to hear sang by Adam…

    The pics in the article were gorgeous. Adam killed me with his looks Grin luval, I had not seen your warning Wink
