2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

Sorry, but I did not like the IL DIVO version of WWTLF. Good voices but no soul. On the other hand I loved Adam’s duet with Helene. They were connected and feeling it and the emotion came out. Like risky said, WOW!

Ummmm. Yea. That Il Divo WWTLF was just “meh.”
I do like Il Divo, and seeing them live was a powerful vocal experience. It was also quite cheesy and over the top. But, this was just not very good.
I think Adam has broken my ability to listen to much else.
Don’t get me wrong, I still listen to classic rock, ever single day, and I try to like some new stuff on the radio.It just gets harder and harder. I like Hozier. Imagine Dragons. Pink, Fun, and Bruno among others. The new Swifty stuff is remarkably listenable. I leerve Sam Smith.
I know for a lot of you, you just don’t like him that much, or are sick of him, as he is rather over-exposed at the moment, but I think he is young and has a huge future.
I also like Ed Sheeran quite a bit. And, Adele has an album coming out this year. Just watch for Adele and Sam Smith to duet.
Did anyone watch The Voice last night? I only watched the last couple of weeks, but, dayum. They just might finally have a real star or two or three in the works. Mr. Country will win it hard, and be HUGE. Mr.Cute Face Groban hair and tats will be second, he is soooo good.
Overall, the judges just end up pimping themselves hard. But, they performed pretty well last night too.
Any opinions out there?

so douchebag Levine’s boys don’t. Matt and Chris are very good as is Damien but fingers crossed for CWB. Matt’s original song is pretty decent but douchebag lied openly on national tv saying Matt helped pen the lyrics to Wasted Love but peeps said he didn’t at all. I can’t believe douchebag had 3 out of the 4 finalists!! Ugh. Go Blake!! Craig is the most marketable out of the 4. He’s believable and I don’t even like country much. Matt is at #1 on itunes and all three of his songs last night are higher than Craig’s but Craig has 4 top songs on country itunes as well and hopefully the call ins will have helped him. Good season this year though. Hope idol can get a few good ones too. UK Xfactor had some excellent finalists also. Ben won and Fleur came second. Both very good.
I’m ready for the Voice finale. Don’t really care who wins. They are all pretty good. This is exactly what Idol hasn’t had the last few years. A good cast! Or I should say contestants. Am hoping beyond hope that Idol will stage a comeback this season with amazing acts. It’s still my favorite show. Pharrell started good but was a disappointment as the season went on. Blake Shelton (as well as Levine) have run out of things to say. Gwen is sweet.
Ok, so Ben won Xfactor. Don’t know who he is. Will check him out.
