2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

That has to be the most ridiculous test of the many ridiculous tests I have taken here lately!
Well, I do have brown eyes
. And the profile doesn’t fit the answers I gave: don’t drink, write with a pen and paper, wear nail polish sometimes, use moisturizer, take an hour to get ready in the morning, prefer a dinghy to skiing or parachuting, etc . Like I said, ridiculous.
rs….that was the first answer I got, then I did the test again with the same answers and got female, in 30’s……
I did it twice with the same answers and I got the same result.
lololol, I changed a few answers and got male in mid 20s! What do I have to do to get female? Cook more than twice a week? get fewer than 7 hours of sleep? I’ll try that and see.
I put 5-6 hours of sleep….usually get about 6 – 6 1/2, but still less than 7, wear flip flops all the time, and cook more than twice a week…maybe thats why I got female???
Yep, put in all the same answers as the first time (mid 30s male) and just changed one answer from “cook less than twice a week” to “depends on the week” and became a mid 40s female! Like I said in the beginning, the most ridiculous of all the tests. Wasted too much time on it already. Must go finish editing my photos from my recent Rhine River Cruise.

It’s a great article, if you have the time. It effectively makes the case that, as remarkable as John and Paul are in their own right, the unique brilliance of their music is rooted in their collaboration. If they had been solo artists or started separate bands, neither would have dominated 20thC music the way they did.
It is a complete fluke that they met. A rare and wonderful thing.

I sent the Berlin interview to my brother and although he enjoyed it, the only comment he had was “doesn’t he own another pair of shoes?”.
Had to explain about Adam recycling his clothes…the python shoes are his favorite.
Another guy I sent it to (a male nurse I work with who is a musician at night), said he was so surprised how dressed up Adam looked. Only remembered him from Idol. But from that interview he looked up Freddie youtubes and watched the whole Las Vegas QAL show. I think he’s hooked now. Another one who would have seen them even if they had to drive a bit.

That character quiz is completely ludicrous! I said that I prefer salad, use moisturizer on my face, and like the 70’s best. Now don’t you think that would age me a bit? I got “teenage boy”. That’s hilarious! It’s totally random and couldn’t be further from the truth, but at least it gave me a good laugh in the middle of my work day.
