2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

That was cool ulti! I got 13/14..plurality excellence but don’t know which one I got wrong.
It said that I got Plurality Excellence too, but didn’t say how many I got wrong. Think I knew all of them…..but since I can’t spell you never know
I did that quiz this morning on FB…only got 11 right, still said excellence though. it tells you which ones you got right when your score comes up, I got 1, 5 and 14 wrong.

Just watched 3 times. Best QAL ever interview.
They all look great. Brian’s hair has been darkened a bit and trimmed waaaaaay back.
Roger has lost a lot of weight and looks toned and healthier. To be honest, at times while watching him live and in videos, he looked ready to collapse from exertion. IMHO. Loved his rock and roll attire, the velour plum jacket, the rock pants, the boots.
Adam was so articulate and so humble. So gorgeous, so Adam. Love love love love him so f-ing much.
I worry about Roger a bit. Drumming is a strenuous business. It’s a great workout and long as he has a healthy heart, but that kind of exercise has it’s risks if he isn’t taking care of himself.
Nice to hear that Elton and David are tying the knot. They had a great celebration when civil ceremonies were legalized in the UK and now they get to have a second one. Can’t wait for the photos. Maybe we will see their eldest son will be a ring bearer.
RE: the plural quiz – The answers are at the bottom of the quiz, ulti. I made one mistake: rooves instead of roofs. Roofs is apparently common usage so I will have to mend my ways.

Thanks for pointing out that it was Helene Fischer singing WWTLF, luval. I assumed that the 15-second video clip was Adam delivering an utterly sub-par version of the song – easily his worst performance to date – on TV!!!!

Totally agree ulti. I would love to hear details about this. I / we have been saying for years that these songs are killers to sing. Very complex, very challenging. It is a rare , very rare, singer that can take on even ONE of the songs from the Queen catalog and nail it.
A whole concert? Elton used to be able to do a song or two. George Michael, some of them. Annie Lennox, also a few songs. This is all the past.
Gaga, who I adore, love her so much, love her voice, her concerts, sorry, she sucked so bad with Queen, I was feeling pain watching her try to duet with Adam. Even she couldn’t do a whole show.

Had to laugh at my quiz results. It said I got 16 correct and there was only 14 questions! Then I looked at the numbers and it counted 8 three times and 9 twice! Just like my frequent double postings here! So I actually got 13/14 right.
The Berlin press conference was a feast for the eyes and ears in all its permutations. I watched each of the videos several times. They all looked great. Adam’s hair is a perfect length now. (Please, please don’t shave the sides again, Adam. You need more hair to keep warm in Europe this winter.) Roger was the biggest surprise- so trim and so fashionably dressed. Wow! I especially loved the plum jacket. The love fest interview was also the best ever. They were all so articulate and so obviously comfortable and happy to be working together.
I took the plurals quiz and got 14/14. I was an English major in college and also studied Latin and biology, so I had a bit of an advantage in taking it.

Well, from want I could see in the part of WWTLF duet that they presented, our boy didn’t hold back on the vocals.
Helene looks like a drama queen herself so she could stand up to it and she looked like she was totally into it. So much better than the other duet they did with that other female diva in Australia that was a total hot mess.
Do they sing any part of the song together, not one line each? Guess we’ll see when the show comes on unless we get another leak.
It really looked like she was lip syncing the other songs, not WWTLF.

Got to say I agree with rs; Adam did not hold back, sort of like he was defending his turf a little, and I say that only because he has taken not only ownership of, but responsibility for that song, by always giving it his all.
