2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

    eta: am going to try listening on my break at 11am but don’t know why on my iphone (and not on wifi) you tubes just stop and go & sputter.

    I want to send it to people but I know some see 8 plus minutes and don’t bother. Usually 2-3 at the most they will “put up with” a QAL interview. lol

    I sent the long version to my drummer friend and here’s his response:

    “The all important and coveted “Press Package”! Always wanted to get my hands on one of these from my favorite Artist. Just a great interview! Everyone looks great–comfortable, Adam looks excellent. Pretty darn natural.”

    I wish that one part of the short interview was in the long one. The part where Adam describes his audience…moms & dads, grandpa’s & grandmas’s kids, etc.

    I love this video even better that the orginal Berlin one. It’s still the Berlin press conference but things that weren’t shown in the others. Roger is really funny. Adam talks about how hard the show can be. And the press gets autographs at the end. (from R3uters)

    LadyNorth, Brian has always been the more chatty one, but Roger has been singing Adam’s praises, when he can get a word in edgewise, from way back when. He was the one who said that Adam has a voice in a hundred million! He doesn’t say much, but what he does say are gems.

    Re: Helene Fischer – nice voice, but (my personal taste) prefer a male voice for Queen. And no dancers like she had on tour, thank the universe.

    I prefer a male voice for Queen too ulti…actually I prefer a male voice generally…although there are a few ladies I like, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Rhianna, Katy Perry…
    Not sure WWTLF would be my first choice as a duet….

    Also saw a mention of Udo – believe they mean Udo Jurgens – German/Austrian? singer/songwriter – dl’d a number of his songs years ago – just looked him up – 80 now – enormously popular – still tours, I think –
