2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

That headline is looking for trouble ulti, but so far the comments are all well written and polite.
Bit gutted that I didn’t bump into Adam in London…somehow don’t think we were moving in the same circles… My daughter tends to know the bohemian/off the beaten track places…not the expensive up market ones…
Hope he’s got lots of layers on…it was blooming freezing…or maybe it was because I didn’t have a coat that I found it more so??
Adam would definitely wear a tank or something under a jacket like that. The Kiev/hammersmith jacket with the silver spikes on the shoulders was short. Also, of course, the Now I’m Here black jacket was short. He wore a tank or tee under both. I think he likes the short jackets. They show off his trim waist. lol Nope, he’d never show his belly.
Speaking of tanks, peeps on twitter are guessing Adam ordered this “disco” tank or tee.
( there was some sort of messaging going on between Adam & the designer).

I took the sightseeing bus and boat tour when I was there this summer.

I had a lovely visit with cwm over the weekend. Among other things, we ate lots of delicious treats, berted, listened to Queen Forever, gossiped, planned our tour of Krakow, etc. We also discussed which of our dear ALL friends had not made the trip to Maryland yet for an mmm222/ adamized house party. (luval, you’re at the top of that list!!! Time to make plans to get down here!) We also talked about which Allers neither of us had met yet. Ron was at the top of that list. We need to get ourselves to Toronto to collect that hug. After dinner last night, I dropped cwm off at her hotel in Bethesda. Tomorrow she’s heading to adamized’s house for the night and we’re all going out to a Thai restaurant for dinner. We’ll have to give the full report on that meal for the sake of our fellow foodies. (Cher, I knew cwm’s description of last night’s fabulous dinner would pique your interest, and of course, that luval would blame us and our indulgences for her own dietary transgressions!!!)
BTW, my soul is red. Not a color I gravitate toward, but the description fit.
And speaking of red, I read “The Red Tent” years ago and really loved it. It was an engrossing story and a fascinating depiction of women’s lives in biblical times.
