2014 wraps up this month and what a year it has been. We did not get a new album but many of us got to see Adam and Queen perform live and will see them again in the UK and Europe. Adam still found time to record “Imagine” for UNICEF and starting December 1, also be part of “giveStars“ where all proceeds go to charity. Throw in a Classic Rock Award for Band of the Year and an appearance on the UK X Factor and I would say that it was a pretty good year for Adam and ALL his fans. December will probably be quieter as he prepares for the Winter 2015 Q+AL tour but we have plenty to keep us going until the tour starts. Here’s hoping that some news about the new album will be Adam’s year-end gift to us! He’s the gift that keeps on giving!! And speaking of gifts, how about spending NYE with Queen and Adam in London! What a way to ring in the New Year!!!

So I’ve had the good fortune of visiting mmm222 to coincide with a work trip to Bethesda. Right now we are enjoying a lovely dinner in Annapolis, having just finished off a deliciously wonderful lobster and black truffle pot pie, and now we are starting in on some wickedly good cream of crab soup. Then we’re on to the Maryland crab cakes. Yummmm! mmm222 is a wonderful hostess and it’s a delight to get a chance to spend time together. We raise a toast to you ALL, friends real and virtual, near and far!

OT Keep seeing previews for a biblical mini-series called the Red Tent. Part one tonight on Lifetime network. Seems like lots of sex & bare bodies. Men’s mostly lol. Best selling novel I never heard of.

The Red Tent is a wonderful book by Anita Diamant. I read it years ago, it is an “alternate” look at Dinah. The TV version is ready to record in my DVR. Books to film is always a slippery slope, never sure how it will turn out.

I couldn’t imagine that mils and I would ever have the opportunity to meet. Ever. But we did and not once but twice! She’s a very special person, a very special lady.
