After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    Alice Cooper was on Joy Behar the other night and he was smart and funny!

    luval Did you know Alice Cooper owns a restaurant in Phoenix that features a 22 inch hot dog called the “Big Unit” named after pitcher Randy Johnson.

    Hi everyone usually lurking but when I heard the news I had to go home at lunch and look everything up to see what had happened! I was worried about adam after I found out what happen so far. Adam is a grown man and can have a drink in his hand without thinking he has a problem. Things happen and what adam did is not so bad, there are worse things that happens in this world. I’m happy adam is fine and I love him and his music regardless. I am a fan always and forever and short of him becoming a killer or predator I will always be behind adam 100%. I am a fan for life!!!

    I think we are all right there with you! That’s why this bothers some of us so much, we want him to soar, not crash and burn!

    Adam will soar I believe he has a good head on his shoulder and we all made mistakes in our lives! There are things I have done when I was younger that I wish I could take back but these all things we can learn from and be more careful in the future. If adam wasn’t adam no one would care. Others have done alot worse.

    kradamour thank you! I love this site and I usually love reading everyone’s comments but today I felt I had to speak. In telling some good news my sons and husband are not big adam fans but like his music. I played the snippet for my older son and he was like what happened when it stopped. He wanted to hear more and when the single came out, they heard it and loved it. My husband was like is that his new single, if it is he has a hit. He said it is beautiful and his voice is gorgeous!! I couldn’t believe it, I loved it!!

    Hi asiangirl. Love to hear different opinions. I think there is a lot of respect on this blog. It is ok if you don’t agree. This was a rough day for me…that I can say. Was ready to give up on our boy. But as I said a few posts back, I’ve turned around, let it go and will move on. Please post more often!!

    I love Adam even more after his latest tweet!!!!! Can’t wait for him to come home. It’s probably going to be a few more days I would think.

    Back from a Hanukkah party. Latkes, candles and presents. One person there who knows of my fandom said “so your boy got into some trouble today, hunh?” “So, now he manned up.”

    “This actually gives him cred in the “manliness” department”.
    ( I know, I know, the whole GLAAD and testosterone thing this week. ) I had a thing or two to say to this person, with a smile on my face, however he got my point.

    I’m hoping this will blow over.

    If anything, he sure is in the news again.

    I am really glad it was apparently not as bad as it initially seemed, for Adam’s career’s sake and for their relationship’s sake.

    Just caught up on all the comments today! Wow!

    The boys got drunk, had a tiff and a rumble, and someone called the cops. What I’m thinking is ewwww, rolling around on the dirty kitchen floor and that this puts a story behind BTIKM!

    I know we all look at things differently but we all want Adam to succeed in his career as well as in his personal life.
    There is a sense of security on this site to express our opinions even if they differ from others, and I would like to see that continue. We are like a big extended family and I would welcome any of you into my home, whether you like my meatloaf or not! Hug Left Hug Right

    My son-in-law also came in saying to me, “I see your boy got in trouble”, but then followed with, “most of the bands I follow do a lot worse than that”!
    I don’t think this will have a negative impact on Adam’s career.

    Happy birthday Miss Chaos! It’s really been a chaotic day in the life of Adam’s fans! Please stay with us eywflyer! Tempers get out of hand when bb is involved. Diehard fans were bawling their eyes out last night when the news broke. Adam needs to learn some self control when it comes to liquor or get some help. He’s right on the cusp of superstardom and these incidences do matter in the court of public opinion. He has many haters”looking at you Perez!” and they love to spread horrible things about him.
    I’m a fan for life but want him to use better judgment and practice self control. Bring on the music AFL!! Your vocal talent is unsurpassed!

    Well, what a day this has been. I was lurking last night when Cher brought news of the latest Adam antics and my initial reaction was a sick feeling in the very pit of my stomach. My second thought was to avoid MJ’s and stay in this supportive yet honest environment. I think I made the correct choice. Thank you all for your heartfelt opinions and for injecting some humor into the mix when it was sorely needed.
    I think,like Luval,my emotions ran the gamut from anger to betrayal but I think I’ve settled on sadness for our Adam. I may be way off on this but I have this feeling that he still thinks of himself as the weird fat kid who doesn’t quite fit in. This could account for the reliance on liquor in social situations and the jealosy in personal relationships. I don’t excuse his behavior but feel he probably could use some therepy to address some of these underlying problems. Just my two cents worth.
    Anyway, Happy Holidays to everyone and may you all enjoy the love and peace of the season.

    Latest Adam/Sauli sighting:

    I just woke up and noticed that while I was asleep, my sis had sent me a text: One of her friends had seen Adam and Sauli, sitting and kissing at a window table of empty DTM. (Personally I believe this is a reliable source) This has been sometime in an early evening, yesterday.

    So it looks like:
    – Still in love
    – They visited DTM during the nightclub’s day setting (there is a cafe on the street level that opens up before the nightclub does), I’m guessing to meet the personnel and apologize, make amends or such.

    On the dawn of this new day and in the spirit of the holidays, I say LET IT GO!!!! I am embarrassed for them that this hit the news at all, but again I say, get your drinking under control dudes!!! I am like so many of you, on the Adam Lambert train for life and happy to be there…I ADORE HIM right down to his toes!     Both of our boys have to realize they are in love with beautiful “superstars” and (as such) they are both very popular. People want to be close to them, with them. Jealousy is bound to happen from time to time in situations that they find themselves. Jealousy is a tough thing to battle–no matter which side of the issue you are on.

    Also, Adam is about to be on promo tours and probably away from Sauli a good bit of the time. They have to be thinking how the other will be while they are separated. I know, trust and all; but still, if a person is jealous, it nags in the back of the mind unexpectedly. Pain It’s not a good bedfellow.

    I agree, apal. Adam has said on several interviews that he has trouble seeing himself as others see him now. If true that Cheeks cheated on him, that would have reinforced his feelings of being unworthy of love.
    Adam – by putting his whole self on his sleeve – is such an inspiration to those who feel that they are less than they are. If even this amazing, gorgeous, ubertalented guy can feel inadequate, it is certainly OK for us lesser beings to have those feelings from time to time!
    It also reinforces the truth that our self-image is formed so young…a reminder to love our children unconditionally. Heart

    I don’t think Adam has an alcohol problem, but I do think he’s too much of a control freak when it comes to personal stuff. He seems willing to compromise when it comes to his music, but with the people he’s intimately involved with, he needs to set the rules and control where the relationship goes. He holds on too tight and becomes too possessive and controlling. Adam needs to rein that in, because if he don’t, he’s going to end up alone. Adam is a grown man and if he don’t learn from this, then it’s his life and career he’s putting in jeopardy with these ridiculous episodes. Someone at his Label, his management and family members need to pull him aside and remind him of who he is and what he has to lose.
