After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    Yes, that’s what they said luval. I last heard it on 93.3 about 30 minutes or so ago.

    play nowadays! Good for Adam. I don’t listen so much to top 40, but will play my own copy from my iPod…..

    I just watched vid from Helsinki airport and my admiration for Adam grows even more (I don’t know if it’s possible, but I guess it is). First of all he must be tired like a hell, but still is nice and smiles to his fans (if he thought for one second, that nobody will be stalking waiting for him at the airport, he should have his head examined, Glambert ninjas are everywhere)
    Second , he carries his own luggage, takes taxi to wherever he is planning to go, does not expect Sauli to arrange for somebody to pick him up, no fuss, no playing diva.I know much lesser people who expect to have an entourage wherever they go.
    His parents raised him well. Smile

    Went to Nashville this past weekend to visit family, so I have been away from the computer a couple of days. Just wanna say that I. LOVE. BTIKM!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hear Adam’s voice loud and clear above the drumbeat that I dearly love.

    loved your post kradamour, you said exactly what I was thinking. I actually felt a bit sad watching the Helsinki airport video. He’d clearly not expected anyone to be there and wanted to try and slip in incognito.
    as to the 2 big suitcases, I thought they looked quite small, you always need more room for winter clothes.

    and luval, yes we’ve seen that jacket before, several times I think, can’t remember when though. Never heard of it being called lacy though, usually raggy and torn…

    I don’t listen to the radio in HK, my car radio doesn’t seem to work without loud crackles, and we don’t have a radio in the house. Sometimes we listened to UK stations on the internet, maybe I should do that more to try and hear the single.

    WOW this is so exciting about the radio play a day before, tomorrow is gonna be nuts, with the itunes count down, #1 how fast, lol. I havent said anything about my opinion of BTIKM because, number 1 its lengthy and number 2 it changes a lot. But I am soooo happy for Adam, and hope the song wins him a lot of awards, he so deserves it. My one comment is tho, I dont play it with the excitement like I did with TSMGO.

    I remember last time waiting for seemingly weeks before any radio play was even noticed by any of us. This is all so amazing!! What a difference a couple of years, a successful worldwide tour, and a Grammy nomination make….. Heh Victory

    Whatever you think is ok Miss Chaos. It is very very slowly growing on me. And I mean slowly. I want to hear it from my itunes tomorrow. Hope the momentum for it keeps going. This music business is so fickle. Here today, gone tomorrow.

    eta: AL, you are correct. Tomorrow night for sure. Ya know, this song just could surprisingly be the one to appeal to the masses. I’d love to see RCA be correct.

    I know I’ve missed some countries but here’s what I have…debuting in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Greece, S. Africa, Russia, U.S, Canada, U.K. (promo trip there in February).

    Found some reviews. One very very favorable review, but the comments were sobering. All posters said they loved his voice, an amazing voice, and this song wasn’t bad but it sounded dated and/or just wasn’t that exciting.

    I was a little afraid of that for an international release. If you can’t understand the lyrics, the music itself does sound a bit dated, as an American review posted upthread also pointed out. It was demo’d two years ago, after all.

    On another site, it was pointed out that FYE was a difficult and problematic roll-out over a two year period, and this will hit everywhere at once, and the review predicted a better reception for the sophomore album because of that.

    My thoughts on him in the airport in Helsinki:

    Looking good.
    All alone.
    Polite.
    All alone.
    Very good close up video of what his luggage looks like.
    He had no security.
    Hauling his own luggage.
    Now crays know that he still goes alone.
    And what his luggage looks like.
    There is no such thing as privacy.

    I hope he has a great time with Sauli, and Sauli’s family.
    I hope he gets his tushie back to LA to do some serious promo for his new hit single.
    I hope he does a call-in to Seacrest from Finland.
    I hope he does the UK X Factor.

    I hope he and Sauli have good press. And good Holidays.

    Adam needs to sing this song live NOW IMO. I think there are shows that are on Christmas repeat…Ellen being one Of them. Adam’s on vacay so it doesn’t look like this will happen.
