After a very eventful past month for Adam and his fans, December has arrived. Adam enjoyed quite a bit of publicity during November, including an epic performance with Queen at the EMAs, a Rolling Stone interview, a mentoring appearance on Majors & Minors, and his return to the AMA stage (unfortunately only as a presenter this time around). Still no new music for us to enjoy with our holiday feasts, but all the signs currently point to the lead single from Adam’s new album being released in January.

Update 7 PM 12/14: as per Adam’s tweets today, “Better Than I Know Myself”, the lead single from his new album “Trespassing”, will be released on Tuesday, December 20th!

    Just not looking forward to S11 with JLo there. She has an annoying speaking voice and her personality was grating on the show. And I’ve come to realize – I don’t want to see the judges perform – on any show. It should be about the contestants, not wall-to-wall commercials for the judges.

    Somehow, I had never seen this Sleepwalker! O. M. G. what an amazing performance, musically perfect. But the bonus, the amazing closeups and facial expressions (eyebrows baby eyebrows!) and apparently almost totally makeup free Adam. His face is just sumptious. Someone in the Universe has been abusing the privilege of handing out bounties to one individual.

    I’ve been just listening to Adam tonight. I went on iTunes and listened to snippets from BFM, and I COULD NOT BELIEVE how they RUINED Crawl Through Fire and Pop Goes the Camera.
    Crawl Through Fire has those AMAAAAZING vocals, and they literally made it a guitar instrumental, and the other one they removed the choruses and made it sound blah. Adding insult to injury!!!! Really stupid.

    Just watched the 2 number 16 videos, loved Crazy, hadn’t seen it for a long time, and the WWL from Cologne, outstanding vocals…and other things. will quietly admit that I don’t like purple Haze, too much guitar, not enough Adam. Talking of guitar, sad to see the hug between Adam and Monte at the end, wonder if they’ll ever get back to the way they were.

    asif Thanks for the beautiful wake up this morning. Just what i needed.

    On another note I was really sorry to see Drew go from X-Factor last night. I think she had the most interesting voice of the bunch.
    I am not a huge fan of any of the rest of them, so definitely losing interest in the show now. Simon acted more like a 12 year old last night than Astro did, and I am a Simon fan. Big Smile

    I’m 2 days delayed broadcast here for X-Factor, Glee and Idol.

    I was thinking back then that Drew would be at the bottom because of the back lash. Simon was so mean to Paula. And I like Simon and Paula.
    I’m not a huge fan of any one in particular either.
    It’s more about judges’ feud rather the contestants.
    I don’t like Jlo on Idol either. Too much self promotion.
    I like Steven Tyler.

    OK…slow day. While we are waiting for Adam’s storm.

    Good morning everyone! Thanks for all the fun pics, vids and conversation. I agree with you, ultimathule, about judges’ self-promotion versus more attention on the contestants on X and AI. JLo bothers me the most. I hope Steven is allowed to be more himself – like at the beginning of the the season last year – as opposed to the more “restrained” version that I think they imposed on him (he was stealing the spotlight too often from JLo, IMO) – lots more entertaining that way.

    Do you remember the moth/fairy/twink that flew by Adam in St Agathe, when he was introducing Mad World? It made a comeback in Gaga’s Marry the Night Video at 5:29. Now how did that happen? Otherwise I see a lot of Black Swan influences.

    Hi glambotgram. So we all have our own opinion which makes life interesting. I couldn’t stand Drew! To me she was yodeling through every song and was flat and out of tune half the time. L A Reed was correct that every song sounded the same. But I realized Simon chose the songs. And the crying and the rant by her when she was booted was nuts.

    Oh well. Am looking forward to Idol.

    About the “friends” that have appeared at the AMA’s…I don’t remember an outrage about Adam’s so I guess those groups that complained liked it. Smile

    So, are they thinking Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve for Adam to debut his single??? If so, that would be AWESOME, but I’m not getting my hopes up about this unless we receive further clues information.

    BTW….. Methinks that our boy is enjoying every minute of this driving us crazy!!!

I’m not aloud to say anything else, BUT, Adam’s new single is going to sound very electronic/club oriented and it has a dubstep breakdown during the bridge and ravy/synths to close the song out. the vocals are freakING incredible. He does this “Better than I know MYSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELF banshee/wail thing!

    The best part of her post that I’m hoping will come true…

    The wait is almost over glamberts. I’m seriously excited about this song/album/era. Your boy is going to be a MEGASTAR. And radio is going to EAT it up. And the radio promo + the AMAZINGNESS of the song is really going to take this to number 1. I promise you. This song is bananas and RCA has him as their #1 priority of 2012.

    But you could be right about the troll factor. She seems to be quite sure of herself.

    Yay, another “one” on my list that made the top 16! (One was #11 on my list.)

    Well the excitement for new music definitely seems to have kicked up a notch today. Makes for a nice birthday present for me today! Smile Whether the leaks at idolforums turn out to be true or not, we’ll see. But this is definitely shaping up to be another exciting month.

    Snicker , I agree about all the slow songs she sang but I really like her voice and thought she sounded great. What really made me Pissed Off at LA Reid was he kept harping on Drew sounding the same every week and no one was giving Astro the same criticism. I think he sounded exactly the same every week but they tried to call him a genius.

    I didn’t think she was disrespectful to anyone, at least, when she was booted, just upset, but Simon was another story.

    haha AL and nekkid, red-pants Crazy was one of the first non-Idol performances of Adam’s that I came across on the internet, and I literally could not watch it often enough. Between red-pants Crazy and Come To Me Bend To Me, I was totally fished in.

    And I practically wore out my ipod listening to the studio version of One over and over before FYE was released. That was another one that I just couldn’t get enough of.

    CWM, we must be related! I had ‘One’ on number 11 as well (Crazy on 4), and I’ve played ‘One’ countless times. For a while I used it as a lullaby… worked really well!

    Watched ‘Red Pants Crazy’ a lot. I’m not really fond of Come To Me Bend To Me, though. Will listen occasionally, just because, but have never warmed up to it.
