That Times article is gobsmacking! Yes, a few tiny timeline issues, but overall amazing. I love that Adam himself does sort of promise future collabs with Queen!!!! Be still, my heart!!! I love his music, but Queen’s music is so perfect for him too – his voice and Brian’s guitar = magic. We get the best of BOTH worlds.
I also notice that in the UK they have NO IDEA how well known he is in the rest of Europe, and the world. They live in their own little bubble, too. I wonder if they even saw the Twitter map the night of the EMAs….

Eywflyer…I’m almost more anxious of your opinion of BTIKM than I am of purchasing it! I work on Tuesday so I won’t be going on iTunes until after 3pm. The busy traffic should be over by then.
Since you brought up Durbin: Isn’t is a weird coincidence? A great day for Adam fans, a painful day for James fans. Apparently he totally blew a stadium performance. Even though I’m not a fan, I feel for him somewhat.
Are you softening a little on BTIKM luval, with a better quality version available?
I know everyone won’t love it like I do, more and more with each listen, but I was hoping that you began to like it a little.

nekkid, it’s still just “meh” for me. I get bored by the end of it – wish it was a little shorter and with a stronger ending – and I don’t really hear Adam, and it is hardly the innovative monster that the hype led us to expect. But I do hear potential radio success in the VEVO version, especially if radio peeps love it and push it.
I was hoping for something more Gaga, not in the style but in the way that her voice is always strong and clean and front and center, even in her most pop songs. BTIKM is muddy to me.
WWFM is my least favorite Adam song, and it is part of the genetic material of BTIKM.
I will almost certainly like it in concert, though.
I will buy it, of course. Hoping the next single is more to my taste, but it doesn’t matter. I don’t have to love the recorded music to love and support the talented performer who creates it. It is the live performances and the interviews that showcase the generous, thoughtful artist that make me a fan.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I haven’t seen the words “openly gay” in any review, in fact maybe only
the word “gay” twice, but not next to “Adam Lambert” or “singer” – instead I think it was in a paragraph about his life. That is encouraging!! And some reviews/articles haven’t labeled him up front as “Idol runner-up” but also used it in the text.
I understand and respect your view Kradamour, but I so want you to get these chills that I get when I listen to it. I head bop and sing and end up hugging myself by the end. I want this for all of you!

Kradamour, I can totally understand your feelings about the single. I’m sure you will fall in love with another song from the album. My favorite song from FYE (Sleepwalker) was never even a single. In my mind, that song will be hard to beat. Even though I am very happy with BTIKM, it still is a step below Sleepwalker in my eyes (and ears).
I went to sleep singing BTIKM and woke up with the tune still in my head. Just listened again. Actually it’s the only song I have heard for the past 2 days. I have decided that I officially LOVE IT! Can’t wait to hear all the live variations.
