Ron, I wouldn’t worry about hurting sales – people are gonna do what they feel is right. Everyone here will pay; a growing number of people won’t ever pay again. I imagine this trend has been built into the business model for pop music – money will be made in other areas.
Was going to wait for HQ to hear it the first time, but love, love, love it even in the leak! Cannot wait to get it for real. And it sounds like it should be on radio NOW!

This explains why I feel the way I do about it. But, my opinion means nothing! As long as this a huge h-i-t for Adam, that’s all that matters! 
Ron, I have no doubt that you will hear a lovely, stripped-down version of this song. Adam’s one of the few artists that can even DO that – the others wouldn’t even be in the game without all the production and auto tune.
Want a good laugh? Take a listen to the T-Pain/Lily Allen collab – “Five O’Clock in the Morning”. Her sweet, angelic voice, then his ridiculous auto tuned garbage! Sounds like a SNL joke!
Hi Everyone – Just popping in for a moment. Real Life has kicked me in the ass more than once lately so I haven’t been around. After this weekend I can breathe and will be back for the fun.
Thanks Ron for posting the leak. I too like the stripped down Adam. That’s my favorite way to listen to him. But that said, I do like this song. Had to listen to it a couple of times to really get into it. It’s just like watching a really good movie. It gets better with each viewing. So does this song for me.
Off now to mail the last of my packages. Missed all of you and can’t wait to get back.
BTIKM needs more Adam and less production. But I’ve been playing it over and over again and it does grow on you. When it stops I keep feeling I have to play it again, so I think it’s starting to imbed in my brain! Much,much better than just the 27 second clip. The sound for radio plays is there, I think(although I’m not too knowledgeable about current pop music most of which I don’t like)But radio plays and Top 40 and #1 is what BB needs. So I’m all for it. But I miss the REAL Adam; the “Adam voice”… the voice from the EMAs etc. Know for sure we will eventually hear it for REAL!!!
I love the new song, it’s not what I expected, but in the end that’s a good thing. He sounds fresh, contemporary and the vocals are in forefront. I like this sound from him, it’s what he needs to go to the next level of success. FYE was good, but he didn’t have enough radio friendly songs to last until he was ready to release a new album. If this song is the worse of the bunch, then his album is going to be great. I am excited for him and can’t wait to see it performed live.
I love the pictures of Adam coming from China. Gorgeous in black, very chic and the emo hair is back. He looks like a pop superstar meeting his adoring fans.

I too have some Holidays birthdays. My partner’s is on the 21st, my oldest grandson and nephew is on the 23rd and my best friend had his on the 12th. So tomorrow night we will celebrate by friends and partners happy days.

So I listened to it a few times. Parts of it I love, parts seem disjointed which I didn’t care for (you’d think I was a music critic lol). It’s a very safe song. If radio plays it, it should be popular. Number 1? Not sure.
Now this isn’t the final product. as comments said on mj’s this is a highly compressed poor quality file whatever that means. Danceable? No unless closing time at the local bar. Maybe the finished song is faster and more lively. They might not take this down (apparently download-ables have been halted.??). You could call it a preview of the new music coming Tuesday as someone said.

Do you feel that way about the chorus? Please know that I have an old, old set of ears
but what I hear is a lot of noise during the chorus with someone singing. It could be anyone. I don’t hear anything that’s distinctly Adam on this recording including the “than I know mys-s-e-e-e-l-l-l-f-f-f-f” part. Some criticized Adam for using too much vibratro during TSMGO. Here, I don’t think he used nearly enough! If he punched that last “than I know myself” that ends the song and used his one-of-a-kind vibrato, I could then say, “There’s Adam”!!! It would also finish the song with an exclamation point instead of, well, just kind of fading away.
Other than that, I love it!
Taking off Mr. Critic hat and putting it back in its box … and sealing it.
Again, only thing that matters to me is that it’s a big hit. I do think this will sound incredible when he sings it “live”.

I agree, singing it live will be amazing. And again, I’m anxious to hear the REAL song on Tuesday. And the end does fade away, but maybe this is how they wanted it to be.
The beginning SW notes sound wonky so I’m anxious to hear this on the true recording. But at least I have my SW in a little way. Jay Leno and I always wanted that to be released as a single. lol
Listening again and thinking about live and live acoustic as people talk about all the versions to look forward to! I can almost hear where bits of an acoustic version may come from in the layered backing vocals / harmonies…
According to AQD the dark haired guy with Adam is Jeremy Nielsen…new band member. keyboards?? And Ashley the new bass player is there. Haven’t heard about Tommy or Isaac.
I LOVE this song! I cannot stop playing it, and yes I will be buying multiple copies on Tuesday, but I am enjoying this leak right now!
I too am awaiting the day we will hear this stripped down, because that’s where Adam’s voice reaches into your soul. I suppose when listening to his own voice Adam doesn’t get those same feelings!
But I have to say there is definitely more of Adam’s voice on this recording than on anything from FYE.

I’m with you on that Ron . I want this for Adam!!! What I want/need doesn’t matter right now! I do hear some real Adam but not enough and I do know what you mean about the chorus. But if peeps other than us hardcore fans can relate to this as they do to the other “pop” artists then it’s a plus for me because it will mean my Adam will be around for some time!

The Duke is in your camp…says he doesn’t seem to be able to get into this new song (aand I’ve played it at least 30 times in a row!) Maybe it’s the “ears”; he does have hearing loss (as do I but not as bad)and maybe he hears the chorus as a blur. Whereas he stops and listens and comments every time we play TSMGO..hard to miss much there. Dunno. Just want it to be a hit!!!
