Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    Dear cwm! You did it again. I have been thinking about you lately and hoping that the fact that you weren’t around was because you were very busy at work or taking a summer vacation. But I knew that you had been dealing with some difficult situations at home, and yesterday I decided to email you to see how you were doing. But as so often has happened, you beat me to it and posted on ALL. I was so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. I know how close you were. You have had too much family sadness lately. Dealing with aging parents is so tough, but it sure beats the alternative. I lost my mother 30 years ago and I still think about her and miss her. So from now on I wish you lots and lots of joy from your family and satisfaction at work. I hope they aren’t working you too hard.

    Isn’t it lovely that we have Adam to distract us from rl. There is so much going on with him right now that I am not even sure if I am seeing all the performances and interviews. I have TOH on repeat in my car and I really love the whole album! It is hard to choose favorites. Each one has something that I love. TISI might be my favorite. It stops me in my tracks every time I hear it. And I adore Things I Didn’t Say. The lyrics are so brilliant in describing what can happen in a relationship and ring so true to me. As does Another Lonely Night. And I love These Boys, because I feel like he is letting TPTB from his previous label have it. And I love the descriptive images in Evil in the Night and TOH….and the story of Lucy with Brian’s guitar riff. Does anyone in Pop music these days have such meaningful lyrics? I can’t believe it.

    And don’t get me started on his interviews. The interviewer’s dream guest just keeps getting better and better. When he first came on the scene he talked about how he is an open book, and he answered every question, no matter how annoying. He has gotten so much more savvy and knows now how to avoid all the harping on nonrelevant issues and get to what he wants to talk about……REAL STUFF! And the bedtime story! I am really not the jealous type, especially where Adam is concerned. He gives us, his fans, so much love. But I was so jelly of AH when Adam sang him to sleep! That Voice….so gentle and gorgeous. And that laugh! Pure joy.

    Oh, and did I mention that Adam has never ever looked better. How does he do it?

    Enough of this overlong post. I really just wanted to say, Welcome back cwm. We missed you.Hug Left Heart Hug Right

    Many sad stories about loss of parent(s) on the blog the last few days (been there myself with my mom and dad), but so heartening to see all the kind, thoughtful responses. What a great place this is to come to for understanding.
