Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    rs– I don’t think you’re being petty at all about the article at masterherald.com. What struck me immediately about the “admittedly gay” comment was the “but”:

    “Lambert is admittedly gay but he is still one of the more good looking singers today…”

    Since when does being gay make a guy less likely to be good looking??? What a stupid thing to say!

    So, to update all of you on my whereabouts for the last month…I retired as planned at the end of July. My office closed early on my last day and had an elaborately decorated, hilarious rock star/ Adam Lambert themed party for me. It was the perfect send off. My husband and I then went to Washington state to visit our son and go hiking and camping in the mountains. We had no internet or cell phone service for most of the trip, so I got woefully behind on all the Adam news. I was able to catch up on some of it in various airports as we attempted to fly home. (Long story, but our easy 5 hour nonstop flight morphed into 3 flights and 3 days of travel.) One day after I got home, I went to visit my sister at the beach. Now I’m back and catching up on everything, including Adam. All I have to do now is figure out where to put all the Adam paraphernalia that I brought home from my office. I think I’ll set up a little Adam shrine in my son’s room. He rarely comes back to Maryland. I’m really enjoying my new found freedom and having more time for everything I love including Adam.

    Aw thanks, ultimathule. What I do now is take off that damn plastic wrapper before I gift it. So much easier to just throw in the CD player then having to mess around with that wrap.

    Hi mmm222, I was just wondering how your new freedom has begun Smile What a nice farewell party you got!Any other trips planned? I would be so ready to travel somewhere in fall for Adam or QAL – I usually don’t travel in summer, I like to stay at the countryside cottage then. Secretly hoping for some QAL concerts in Europe after SA, but I guess it’s reserved for Adam’s solo promo.

    Hi LadyNorth! I’ll be traveling in Europe from 9/13 to 10/6, but not in your neck of the woods. I too was hoping that QAL would add some shows on in Europe after their SA tour. The timing would have been perfect for me. I could have delayed my trip home by a few days. But it looks like that is not going to happen. Adam is scheduled to perform at the Fallfest show in NYC on 10/8. I have tickets to that show and will be going unless my trip home from Europe also morphs into a 3 day ordeal. (It had better not!!!)
