Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    So I kind of met my idol today. I have no idea how everything happened, I just can’t think straight at all right now. But what I can still manage to say is that it was the best day of my entire life. Whenever I said that in the past, scratch that. Today was the best day for sure. I didn’t only met him but I also got to hug him and tell him how much I love him. And when you think it can’t get any better, you’re suddenly allowed to go to a meet&greet with him and spend more time with him. I don’t know what to say. Today was perfect in every way possible and I wouldn’t change a damn thing. I love Adam more than anything in this world and meeting him is something that never can be topped by anything. He already makes my life so much better every day but today I felt so alive… I’m sure I never felt like that before.

    I have no idea how to explain it but when you stand in front of the person that was always there for you, always supported you and simply means the world to you, you just have that feeling of finally being complete. I looked at him and at first I didn’t even realize that he’s actually standing right in front of me now. But when I did, I immediately started crying because this moment was so overwhelming and…. beautiful.
    All I can say is that I love Adam so much and meeting him meant the world to me. And hugging him means I hugged my whole and entire world and just this thought will carry me on every day from now on. So thank you Adam for giving me another reason to keep going.

    I know some of you love the dark/black hair but I much prefer the lighter natural color that he’s had recently. It’s much softer against his face.

    I like TOH (song) more than ALN but will support ALN if it’s the second single.
    Songs that I repeat a lot never get bored while I’m on my treadmill are …
    Lucy, Shame, TOH, TISI, ALN, Rumours, The Light, TIDS, EIN, These Boys and After Hours.

    Ghost Town is great but it’s in the same category as the other great songs that I’ve heard too many times that I’m sick of them. They are Mad World, WWFM, IIHY, and GT.
    Today my daughter told me that she had heard Ghost Town on radio many times and once at Macy when she was at the mall.
    Go..Go..Go… Ghost Town.

    Q3 on adamtopia:

    What does matter a lot right now is Ghost Town streaming!! Essential for it to go gold.

    Apparently all that 5@5 and thumbs up stuff is no longer important but we are in a good position to get GT to gold.

    Also, SNOL and OHP are VERY important this weekend because we need to make the most of Warner Bros’ promo and “Breaking” banner. WB and Adam really want to hit Top 20 before GT goes off the radio. It is good for ALN and also for his record as a hitmaker.

    The folks at adamtopia thinks WB will release ALN after Labour Day. It is also possible that we have a few more weeks of GT to go. They might wait ’til Adam is back from QAL SA tour. It depends on what else is being released and promoted.

    It would be so great if he can introduce ALN on the Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel this Fall. They haven’t had him so it’s a possibility. (Also, James Corden’s 100th show Grin )

    Just read this in the New York Times:

    LONDON — Legend has it that one night in the late 1980s, Diana, Princess of Wales, went to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern disguised as a male model, with the British rocker Freddie Mercury on her arm.

    I knew about the “male model” rumour but didn’t realize that Diana was supposed to have been with Freddie Mercury. The tavern is in trouble now and the story is part of it’s history. Do you think it’s true? Maybe Adam could ask Brian & Roger for us. Laugh

    Lol…team Superman! Am on that team now too. That hair, although a little harsh…separates him from all the other actors, models, etc that seem to be like sheep in their short hair scruff look. IMO
