Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    When I attended a WAG concert, the friend who was accompanying me, loved all the Adam Lambert song that were NOT my favorites hehehe…

    My favorite TOH is the fiercer “Evil in the Night” which is so great when performed on stage……but “Another Lonely Night” sounds according to me more radio friendly to people who do not really know Adam. And now September is more a time for the sad feelings and other post-holiday feelings without the urge to dancing like in Ghost Town…

    Axxxel, you are probably right about ALN being more radio friendly. I still think Underground is very current sounding to me.

    I mean, if I look at Wikipedia’s page of Queen. Queen started in 1970… BoRap was in 1975, We are the champions 1977, Radio Gaga 1984, WWTLF 1986, and WWTLF came more alive with Adam singing the song. TSMGO 1991…

    Even though the lyrics in ALN are a bit melancholy, the beat as it kicks in is uplifting.

    Underground has a very current urban r&b vibe, but I think it needs some umpf.

    And, GT video will definitely hit 20 million tomorrow!! In Love In Love

    I love Underground too, and it is the song that has the most views/plays after GT, and the most likes, but don’t think it would be a good second single – maybe a later one. Loooove ALN and think the lyrics resonate with people, but GT is still moving and getting good radio. When Adam gets back will probably be a good time for US release. The other countries are way ahead of us and ready for the second. Loving this album!!

    AT&T has messed up with us since June.
    People came and dug all over our yard and cut up and messed up lines.
    Right now there are still orange flags everywhere around here.
    Anyhow .. we are back to internet life again. Grin

    Earlier this month, while Adam was in Australia we didn’t have internet or TV or phone lines because they were parts of the AT&T UVERSE packages.
    I was in agony because I didn’t know what was going on with my boy and I was missing all the goodies and didn’t know when he was back to LA.

    Imagine life without all those necessity! … heh! Heh

    I shouldn’t put all eggs in 1 basket … Should have put some in the fridge! Grin

    All is good now. Grin

    You are probably right axxxel. He is getting better and betterer.

    From this CD, EITN is far from my favourite song but it is incredibly catchy. EITN, Shame and These Boys are Katy Parry and Taylor Swift catchy. TOH, TIDS and The Light are Bruno Mars catchy.

    Underground has a very current urban r&b vibe, but I think it needs some umpf.

    That’s the word, nkd – umph or OOMPH. Underground is gorgeous in a WWFM kind of way. It is compelling but it doesn’t have umph.

    ALN has umph, not OOMPH. Maybe that is what works best on the radio – good energy but not so much that people who don’t get it change the channel. Radio is focussed on pleasing the ear. The “best” songs are like a good announcer’s voice – compelling but not so strong that they start to grate.

    We were all a bit worried about GT. It’s hook is a whistle and doesn’t even use Adam’s voice. Look how well it has done.

    ALN is more accessible and it has umph. It is a slow build from GT musically and thematically. GT moves from feeling nothing to feeling something. It’s perfect for autumn – people don’t bounce into fall, they slowly succumb to it. A winter morning is quiet – do you really want to start it with a bouncy song on the car radio?

    Starting to think ALN is the best choice. Yes

    After that, Adam can throw open the window and bring in a gust of fresh air with TOH in the spring. Then, he can build a nice warm fire under us with The Light in Fall 2016. Clap

    Katy Perry isn’t the only one with 6 hit singles on her cd. High Five! Victory

    Adam in Germany again…last visit east and north Germany, this time south and central of Germany. Do I dare to hope that there will a west Germany visit anytime this year too? Razz

    I hope you guys are all well? Trying to catch news of Adam every day, he is still such a busy bee.

    I have to say I love his dark hair – ok I love his hair in general but not sad that he had dyed ist again.

    Good news is that one of the biggest radio station in Germany EinsLive (my fav radio station!!!) is finally playing GhostTown…every day at least once so far. Hoping that it will be a good start for ALN. That radio station is really important. If they play it its going to get heard by many many ppl in the age of 14-39. So a good target group! Grin

    Real life is still a big mess, but I see some light here and there. So hopefully by the time I have my summer vacation its quieter and I can finally drowm myself completely in the Glambertverse again. So missing it.

    BTW damn f**king hell Adam gets more and more gorgeous each day. The new pics…HOT Cool

    Either someone beat you to the Adam Lambert cover at B&N or the high online-orders forced Billboard to keep the Adam covers for mailing purposes.

    As ALN moves up the charts we need to ask Billboard to make one of their spring issues four different Adam covers.
