I have no idea who this Robbie person is. When Adam first did the interview with the people who mentioned this guy to him, I was wondering who this guy was and why he was trying to duet with Adam.
Now I see he must be famous himself and people are happy he mentioned Adam? I only know I am tired of reading about him and his mention on twitter.
haha glambotgram. I have been hearing about him for years but really don’t know much about him. I should wiki him. Guess he’s won many awards, has sold millions of records, is huge in the UK but was never able to break into the US market.

Lol glambotgram …..Robbie is so famous, originally a member of Take That, was the first to leave and has had a great solo career….I was supposed to be seeing him in concert in sept, but has cancelled his Asian shows again… My favourite song of his is Angels.

I was listening to Katy Perry’s Firework this morning and wondering why Adam can’t do a fast and trippy song like that? Taylor Swift is another one who can sing songs with major hooks on the radio. Is there a different rule for guys or something?
Glad you liked the N’Sync/One Direction article, nkd. It’s particularly interesting given that we are talking about Robbie Williams, who is another singer to successfully break free from a previous boy band. The only other “Take That” singer to garner significant independent fame is Gary Barlow.

Interesting how as fans we can have such opposite reactions to some songs.
I truly love every song on the album, but ALN is one that really stands out for me.
But I would fully support any single he releases.
On the other hand, I would be OK if I never heard WWFM again!

Ulti, A Knights Tale is one of my all time favourite movies, never knew it was Robbie that recorded the song.
That article about 1D, whilst tongue in cheek, is probably pretty accurate. The only one I see having a solo career is Harry. But I had heard this rumour 15 months ago that they would be splitting up after their 5th album. I don’t know why they just don’t slow down, they don’t have to release an album every year, or constantly be touring. A pop stars life is so limited anyway, it seems silly to quit while you’re still at the top.
The weather in the UK is pretty miserable at the moment, around 17c, overcast and lots of showers.

When is comes to musical taste we are an eclectic bunch. I actually like ALN – I just worry that it isn’t catchy enough to draw in non-fans.
Believe me, I would support Adam if he released “Found a Peanut” as his next single. (I might be moved to tweet Eber about getting Adam professional help between streaming and requesting, of course…..

It sounds as though the ID break-up is a rumour but it will happen eventually and, when it does, it will probably follow that tongue-in-cheek script.
Simon is not going to stand still nor is he going to put up with increasingly independent-minded and self-assured artists who don’t always get along with each other (and him). He will want to launch a new, malleable, younger, and much cheaper boy band. And he will hold on to Harry as a solo artist if he pans out during the haitus. It’s what producers in the business of developing teen talent do.

Like ALN because it is so catchy – “Anooothheerr Loooonneellly Niiigghhht” – think unless you have the suits behind you from the get-go (like with the usuals), listeners have such short attention spans – you have to grab them with something pretty quick – whatcha think –
I would like to ask some of the people I gifted the cd as to which song they prefer. Maybe my hospital friend when I see her again. I know she likes GT. But no idea of the others.
I guess it just like a “fiercer” song than ALN if you know what I mean. Like GT did, maybe it will hit me with a punch someday.
