Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    Has anyone received or heard anything of the Fault Magazine Issue 21 that was ordered what seems eons ago? I thought the release date on the magazine was July 15. Could be mistaken on that.

    I’ve been wondering about FAULT, too, nkd. A fan emailed them a few weeks back and they said it would be released this month. The original order was sold out by FAULT in the first day. Most of us bought from a distributor that they designated. I think the distributor got a second printing. Presses often run non-stop. Second printings can be difficult to schedule.

    They should be keeping us posted,, though.

    ETA: I just emailed info@booksmagazinesetc.com and told them that if they gave me an update I would post it online and save them a lot of emails. Hope that works.

    I got “Green hair, don’t care”. Once you choose the colour green and kale, you are pretty set for that conclusion. (I really like kale – one of my favourite salads is made of kale, figs and toasted pumpkin seeds with a balsamic, maple syrup, olive oil dressing. I served it at a Glambert lunch once and it was “meh”. Realized afterwards that I forgot the toasted pumpkin seeds. They really make it. Kale lasts much longer in the fridge than spinach or lettuce, too.)

    BTW, why did BB use such a silly quote for Adam’s cover? “I’m not a 22 year-old waify model, as much as I would like to be?” Good grief! I think he meant looking like one; not being one.

    And thank goodness he doesn’t!

    Surely he said something more quotable in the interview.

    This show premiered last night on the Game Show Network. It’s like Project Runway but with steampunk fashion. For those who are not familiar it’s kinda punk/goth/medieval type clothes. You don’t see much of that out in “real life”. The kids today are all pop/Bieber/Miley, etc. dressing. But there is a group that dresses like this somewhere or they wouldn’t have a reality show about it. Would they? haha.

    I taped it & will watch it soon. I can see how Adam’s picture might have been shown but as we know that look for him was soooo five years ago!

    Wow, I thought I was the only one dealing with Fault Again!! Last time, I never received my mags, and they accused me of selling them on eBay, where I don’t even have an account. They literally stole my money.
    This time, my order from that BooksMagazinesEtc never came so I opened an inquiry with PayPal after no reply from several emails and their own website. Right away they responded with order numbers, and confirmed to my other email. Then, DEAD SILENCE. Checked status, and it just confirms order. So now I opened a formal claim with PayPal and I want my money back. These people are crooks.
    I’ve ordered lots of stuff from UK and never had this problem btw.

    I deleted the post because the first link took people into my Ticketmaster account, sparkle. It was a pre-sell email.

    The gist is that David Arquette is playing Sherlock Holmes in a play coming to Toronto. Since the play received good reviews in Montreal, I thought that it might be a French Canadian actor with the same name playing Sherlock. Either way, the casting seems a bit weird. Turns out it is the American DA, after all.

    Since David’s only connection to Adam is a lap dance, I decided to take it down.

    and have been in touch 2 times as recently as yesterday. They respond immediately and said that are still waiting for that 2nd printing and will ship. If I don’t want to wait they will refund immediately. I used them for 2 previous orders and was more than satisfied with their service so used them this time too. I will wait longer…

    Guess there’s still a question whether BB issue will be in stores. Can anyone see the issue number? Hard for me to see. Bottom-ish left side.Is it 28? If so, I think it will be in B& N. The issue they have now is #27. At least that’s what the girl at B&N told me.
