Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    Hahahaha luval! The lion story is long over, it may have moved to another part of the state. There was sooooo much hype about it here. Hilarious. But, it was sighted several times.

    I did see a stray cat in my yard one day though!!!!

    The PGA tournament was literally less than a mile from my beloved beach I always wax poetic about here, if any of you caught it, you know why I go on and on about my beach. It is gorgeous. We spent the whole last weekend there and had the joy of driving home in the aftermath of the PGA. We actually started to play ” how many states can you spot on the plates?” of cars. We stopped at 27.

    ETA: we were not at the PGA, we were at the beach. There were quite a few visitors to the park/beach from the PGA though. Wearing Title-ist gear(sic ). Commenting on how much they loved the beach. Dammit. It’s discovered.

    Lots of back and forth on twitter last night about “Glambert” I love that word. An Adam Lambert fan is a Glambert. Adam loves it too as he’s said in many interviews. It ain’t that deep.

    Have I missed much this week? I saw that he went to see his friend Ty and Vintage Trouble. I saw Vintage Trouble on the View, and Whoopie and the gals were loving them up big time.

    Gotta get the new CD, I know they performed a couple of the songs when I saw them here.

    The music video is shooting tomorrow? ALN??? YESSSSS!!! Love it. The imagery? Clowns? For realz? I hate clowns, AHS anyone?

    Yes, mils…that was my thought…about AHS Freak show if it’s ALN video. It may be nothing, though. tweet was taken down about auditions. haha I hate clowns too. Not sure why. Never thought they were funny. If there is a video shooting or auditioning people it has all sorts of characters. Not even sure if a clown was one of them.

    Not much happened at all in the last week. He’s playing at the Fusion festival in the UK on August 30th. 3 day festival with Ed sheeran on the first, Adam on the last. It’s the day before the Polish music awards show.

    Can’t believe QAL is a month away in South America.

    So, last week I had an Adam story. I took my boys for new back to school glasses, and the manager and I always talk Idol and music, and she is a Glambert, but doesn’t quite know it. She has many celeb encounters, as she is on call for eyewear emergencies when stars are in town. Her most fun story is about Steven Tyler.

    Anywho, I’m there, boys are trying on frames, etc, and she asked me if I still keep up with Adam. So I flashed her the pic up top, she gasped, and proclaimed him gorgeous.

    From across the store, the young tall thin and blonde beauty of a salesgirl, asks “who???” Adam Lambert?? I LOOOVE him! He’s so funny and great in interviews, and i love his voice.

    So, then I showed them both last month’s picture. They both were speechless. The younger gal especially. I was grinning from ear to ear. I directed her to some goodies.

    Then my boys needed help. Gah. Fun fest over. So, they have new glasses, and I have two Adam fans at my big chain eyewear place. LOL.

    I love the Adam-fan-encounter stories. I live in a small older country-music-loving community so none here. I was at a quiz night last week and recognised the answer as Queen. The question was “bigger than the Beatles and toured here last year”. When he gave the answers, the quizmaster (a local radio DJ) asked if anyone had seen them and I put my hand up. He raved about the new lead singer and mentioned Adam’s new single by name.
    I managed the jigsaw in 3.52. I do the daily jigzone puzzle every day and often do large puzzles for recreation. I prefer 2000-5000 pieces.

    Wow, Kiwi! 3:52! I did it in 4:42 – not great, but decent. Tonight, my youngest sang the line “My heart is a ghost town” quite out of the blue. This time I did not look at her in hopes that she’d sing a bit more. She didn’t but that’s okay. Back from visit with family.

    My daughter is terrified of clowns!
    To me they always seem so sad. Maybe it’s the old Emmett Kelly pictures I remember from childhood.
    Seems like the casting call could fit ALN very well, as well as TOH and EITN, or even Underground. Who knows what the video concept is though?!! Could be anything!

    It’s been 4 months. The timing seems appropriate for a second single even though GT is still inching up the charts.

    8.29 for me for the pic puzzle…..but first time trying to figure out on an iPad,,,it was slow,page kept moving then the page disappeared!!! So it all added a bit of time….that’s my excuse any way!

    Hi rs…..yep still in the Uk. Hubby and daughter have gone back, but I am staying longer with my son to take him up north for a rugby camp and to settle him in to boarding school.
    My house will be nearly empty…with 3 kids in 3 different countries.

    WOW! GT gets four adds and a significant jump in AI. That’s wonderful. It can probably hang in there for another 3-4 weeks. Yes Yes Yes

    Will they launch ALN while Adam is in SA with Queen or wait until he gets back? They need to release it by the end of September at the latest. That gives it two months to establish itself before the dreaded Christmas music blitz.

    GT also got 1 Canada HAC add and 2 Canada Main-AC adds.
    Also, dirty GT moved up 9 places on iTunes to 95, and clean GT moved up over 100 to the 300’s from the 400’s where it had been languishing. AND, TOH was plummeting down yesterday to the 600’s and today jumped up over 100 back to the low 500’s!!!
    I’m gobsmacked. It really isn’t just us diehards anymore – no way!

    I gifted a cd to a woman at work who at times has to “broadcast” information to the whole floor (I work in a hospital). Today she asked if I could hear music in the background when she opens her mic because she was playing TOH in her office. Said she’s obsessed with the whole album. Only plays it at work or when she’s alone in her car. Turns it up!! Her husband doesn’t want to hear it. Someone I’d definitely like to bring to a concert sometime.

    ultimathule, she told me she used to play Trespassing all the time in their car & he’d tell her to stop it. I think he was jealous. I believe he’s a hard rock music lover. Can never get some of them to appreciate a great voice.

    I love ALN and think that it could be a great single choice, however the clean version for radio will f up the assonance in the lyrics, “don’t give a f*ck if the sun comes up”. “Don’t give a damn if the sun comes up” just doesn’t have the same flow.

    Love the melody and construction of this song though! The lyrics are so melancholy but it makes me happy. Strange effect! Music Note
