Adam_Instagram-Sweden

Adam starts off August down under in Australia and New Zealand as he continues his global promotion for his new album. TV performances on The Voice and the Today Show are followed by a show in New Zealand. Adam then heads back to the US where he will headline the iHeart WSOBV concert. The ESKA music awards is next along with some other European promo stops before he heads (most likely) to England to reconnect with Brian and Roger for rehearsals for their South American concerts in September. And who knows what else will happen between the scheduled events!

    Here’s a funny little story. My daughter (the 17 yr old) and I were talking with one of her friends and her mom tonight when the girl, out of nowhere, sang “my heart is a ghost town”. I looked over at my daughter to see her reaction and she just gave me a look. When we walked to the car a few minutes later, I remarked about how funny it was that she sang that line. My daughter said “Do you think that you’re the only one that likes Adam Lambert?” That kinda floored me and made me so happy. GT does stick in your head, as Adam has said, and the fact that it is sticking in the head of 17-year-olds is amazing!!

    I’ve got a little one, too: my oldest son came over the other day and said, “You know I didn’t realize that was Adam Lambert singing Ghost Town on the radio, but whenever I hear it, it sticks in my head for hours, really catchy!” He knows how much I like Adam’s voice, but I loved how he was responding to the song on a really visceral level. These kinds of feedback seem really “organic”, as Brian May would say…so much fun! Grin

    Thanks Tothebeat! Liked your story too. It’s nice that the eyerolling at my house is at a minimum now. I think that TOH is the album that is finally giving him credibility as an artist in the public’s eye.

    cocoglam Great, more support for Adam. I wrote to headquarters they said Adam will sing one song 1:30 for TV do his set at 8:30pm. Before he goes on who knows who will be playing hope it will not be too boring. retjennyand I will get there around 3. Hope we can find you, take a lot of room where you are siting maybe we can squeeze in Laugh

    Oooh luval……me and my son will still be in the UK on Aug 30th….am I brave enough to try and go to a festival on my own. I would do a concert…not sure about a festival though. The Vamps are great, they’re a boy band, have done some good songs and covers. Mcbusted is a combination of 2 older bands, mcfly and Busted that have joined together. Jess Glynne is great, look her up, worth it.her current song is called hold my hand I think.
