Everyone should definitely put Australia and New Zealand on their bucket list!
I have colleagues in Australia with whom I collaborate closely for work, and so have been very fortunate to have gone to Sydney and/or Brisbane a few times for meetings and conferences. It’s always a treat. On one trip, I took my family with me and we went up to the Whitsunday Islands and snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef. That was truly a bucket list item and I’ll never forget it. And with all of the kangeroos, koalas, wombats, exotic birds, exotic fish – my kids were in heaven.
Kiwi – I’m happy to say that I have also been fortunate enough to visit your beautiful country as well! I gave a talk at a meeting at the University of Auckland, and was even welcomed to the country by a Maori chief in an official Maori welcoming ceremony! What a incredible privilege and honor that was!! While there, we also spent a few days touring around the North Island, and my favorite place was the Ruakuri Cave in Waitomo – where you float down a river through a cave lit only by glow worms. It was one of the most magical moments I’ve ever experienced in my life. We weren’t able to get to the South Island on that trip, though, so I really want to go back to see the South Island, which I understand is spectacular!

riskylady – I agree with you and your mixed feelings about how Adam’s socializing – every move and every person – is documented, discussed, and dissected. Hopefully he has occasions (and I think he must) when we can just let down his guard and get to know and like someone in relative privacy without the whole world knowing about it.
He’s obviously super social, though, so I think he really enjoys going out and just mixing and meeting lots of people over drinks and music. And when they’re cute/hot/pretty/gorgeous? All the better! It’s taking the next step with someone that gets much trickier, I’m sure, out of the range of cameras and spotlights.

I know they’ve mentioned Ireland, England, Scotland already (cant remember the others)… not sure if they will happen in the fall? Seems to me not too long ago Shosanna gave an impression that one or more significant concert(s) wouldn’t happen until next year. (sad, if true. If so, thinking Bri & Toger could prob use the break. They have families and such). She didn’t specify where or how many. That may have been only in reference to the multiple inquiries as to whether they would be playing at Wembley. IDK… it’s all so vague at this point.

Well the tv publicity must be having an effect. My older brother from Goldbourn Australia told me earlier this year he couldn’t stand Adam Lambert. I just had an e-mail asking if I was seeing the show and added that he had seen them on tv and in his words “Adam Lambert is very good I have to admit……….” Wow!!!!

They’ve been top of my bucket list for years even before Lord Of The Rings but Adam Lambert groupie-ing ate up my OZ/NZ piggy bank stash!
