As July ends, so does a fantastic series of concerts by Queen and Adam across North America. It will be a summer that many ALLers will never forget! Q+AL take a few weeks break before heading off to Asia and then for concerts Down Under. If the reception there is anything like it was here, Q+AL can expect to get some major loving!

    I’m thinking more Hyatt too, especially looking at the pics.

    I’ve just watched that ALS video, smalls, from the beginning. Nearly brought me to tears. I hope everyone sees it. I didn’t really know what it was before, it certainly hit home hard in that brief clip of his mum.

    On a brighter note…aircon finally being fitted as we speak!!

    Hi HK. Looks like it’s a type of spa room (with perhaps a Jacuzzi and/or sauna room within a suite)? Maybe a large private shower you walk into.

    Good charity…my dad was in one of their hospices the last few weeks before he died. Amazing nurses.

    My daughter’s volleyball team took the ALS challenge last night after practice. Don’t think there’s a video. After seeing the video posted above about the 26 year old and an ESPN video on Pete Frates who started the challenge, I am so pleased that this terrible disease is getting national attention and more funding for research.

    HK fan, I too wanted to mention the video of your son’s team taking the ice bucket challenge. It was great and probably nice for you to get a glimpse of him. He was in it right?

    The video posted above of the young man recently diagnosed and taking care of his mom is a great reminder of what it’s all about.

    BTW, I don’t think that’s an “H” on the bottom of the “bucket” in Adam’s video. Just something stuck on it.

    I don’t think that they are at the Hilton or the Hyatt. Decor doesn’t match.

    lol…here I am at work. I’m not that busy but there are a dozen doctors standing around and I’m trying to post and look at twitter. Hate it when the pictures show up. I have to minimize very quickly if I’m using the desk top! I remember doing this before I had an iphone, back at mj’s.
