I’m inclined to agree with previous posters, re: Adam taking as much work with Queen as he can get. Stash the $$$$ – money, after all, does buy independence – and then plan his own future accordingly.
I don’t think that the time spent with Queen will inhibit or do any harm to his career, but will get his name out there to even more people worldwide.

Thanks for asking asmallworld and thanks for answering y’all. It feels good that someone ,somewhere knows stuff about me! I have/had tickets to both Melbourne shows and the first Auckland concert. I have given up/sold my second Melbourne ticket to a fan who couldn’t get a seat. It was at the back of the floor area and at 5 foot (and shrinking) I wasn’t sure how much I would see anyway. I am happy to have two concerts to see and both with wonderful friends. Not within spitting distance but perhaps one of the shows will have a ‘golden shower’ for me!!!!
It is all getting so close now. I am feeling all shivery inside and almost sick…what am I going to be like in just over a week! The friend I’m going to Melbourne with is a Queen but not an Adam fan. I’m going to get a kick out of her reaction. She may hate it but I don’t care….The friend in Auckland came with me to the Glamnation concert there, she really knows how to enjoy herself. I can let my hair down completely at that concert. There we are lower bowl seats right opposite the extended stage. Perfect! 10 more sleeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When the tour first started the worm in my ear was ‘Lap of the Gods”. That was another song I didn’t know well, wasn’t sure about and came to love. ‘I was Born To Love You’ has done exactly the same thing. ‘Love Kills’ killed me right from the start at I Heart LA but I am happy if they drop that now in favour of new stuff. I don’t care what we get, it’s all great.

Boy George was just on Access Hollywood. Starting a U.S. tour I think. He looks so good. He’s over 50 but he looks in his 30’s to me. He a vegan and eats only a raw food diet. I don’t think I could ever give up my eggs over medium.

smalls, I saw Vintage Trouble in my town the night after the Queen + Adam at IHeartRadio show. They were Sept 21st, and Vintage Trouble was the 22nd. I was on such a music high it took me a long time to come down. Egads, Adam blew our minds and ears and hearts and special parts into bits one night, and then the next I was up close to TY who smashed that theater into smithereens.
It just wasn’t a sell-out, and it should have been. Poor PR, combined with casino BS with high-roller front seats empty.
I just love VT, and have turned many people on to them.
I had Ty sign a picture of him with Adam, and he was just all smiles. His guitar player also played with Adam at the Zodiac show, and you can see him in the Crawl Thru Fire video. When I showed the pic to them after the show at their meet and greet, they both laughed out loud. I had printed out a graphic that said “Glamberts Love Trouble.” They loved that!! Ty was so cute, he said ” Oh, I miss my hat.”
( wearing a cute little Bruno Mars type bowler hat in the pic ). I laughed and pointed to Adam, and said “What. You don’t miss this?”
I was so impressed not only with Ty’s talent, his band, his music, his work ethic, BUT, I was impressed that , once again, Adam has a caliber of friends that is simply outstanding. They all seem to be genuine people, people who go the extra mile to make sure that others are happy, and that they get a nice experience in meeting them. I think this is rare.
Ty has that special “glow” of a uniquely talented person. I can’t wait to see him again sometime.

After I took a moment to stop & process just how extraordinarily fortunate, lucky, good karma – whatever you wanna call it – you have that you were present at the iHeart radio event with Queen + Adam . . . (now recovered from my envy ;D)…
I enjoyed reading your unique experiences with Ty & VT and the unforgettable moments you’ve created with them.
One of the things I like about VT is the unique blend of sounds in each song.
They are not one certain genre or another. In addition to Ty’s singing, this to me is exceptional. It’s as though a fascinating, continual and variable stream of thought is represented in each song… resulting in a colorful, intensive and yet, balanced mix.
It’s hard to describe: blues, rock, soul, funk, a sprinkle of metal & a dash of R&B? Whatever it is – I likey.
You have good taste, mils (ok, so I’m biased as it appears similar to mine. lol)
I hope this group gets more exposure and becomes a success.
They are fun to listen to. Must have been a real treat for you to experience them live.
I wholeheartedly agree that Adam surrounds himself with a caliber of friends that share a similar essence of qualities that he possesses. I believe it’s a gift.
He attracts rarer people like himself into his life. Each person seems enriched and made better by him… and some of them go on to translate enrichment and special energy (“glow”) to other people.

Smalls, alas, I was not in Las Vegas for IHeart. I experienced it live via an excellent stream put out on IHeartRadio. I shared that experience in an intimate setting, live, in the corner, with ALL.
Then, I watched it once or twice that Saturday, ahem, and forced myself to shower, and get dressed for the Vintage Trouble show.
I went there with a head full of music and images, and had to switch gears sonically, but was helped by the thought that I wasn’t just going to see a great show by a fantastic band and an incredible lead singer/performer, but, by the knowledge that I was also seeing one of Adam’s best friends. It’s hard to explain, but it gave me a special warm feeling.

smalls..IHeart radio in Las Vegas was myself, mmm222, texaswannaholdem and aely from here. Most amazing 29 minutes ever. Exept for Fun on stage with Queen. Of course had a great time with mmm222 in Las Vegas itself. Will never forget it. We missed Queen in London and thought this might be the only time we’d ever experience them live. Little did we know!
ultimathule, remember a couple of days ago I mentioned I noticed the words that Adam sung in Now I’m Here as “don’t I love her so” at the beginning but then “don’t I love him so” at the end? Looked up the lyric and that’s the way the lyric goes! I thought Adam changed it. oops.
