Yessiree, they do nkd.
And just after I watched your video, I found myself taking a little journey on over to this one, too.
“Plenty” of reason to like this one…
*still catching my breath*

The thread for the Osaka concert is now up. There is no live stream that I know of. There will be one from Tokyo though.

Good news from Nile Rogers
nkd THANK YOU FOR THE JAPAN FYE!!!! My favorite go-to video for that song. YUp, those are the pants. Love them! I can’t say that I could fit into pants from 4 years ago!
So happy for Adam, he’s a man-in-motion by nature. Peace and quiet would leave him restless.
Happy to hear about Nile’s continuing good health.
Great Sauli blog

Last night I watched the first episode of the TV series Fargo.
In it, one guy says, as a sort of “whoa!” response – “oofta!”!!!!
Older ladies and Adam Lambert
http://www.cliip.net/20140816/0165/older-ladies-and-adam-lambert-an-ambiguous-enigma
LOL about the old ladies article… it is so “me”…
My infatuation with Adam started first with his look on American Idol, resembling some British 1980s popstars I loved as a teenager…
Then my respect grew when I read in the beginning of the Idol journey in an written Idol Q&A that he wanted to sing Whole lotta love… even though it has never been cleared before.. and his voice on that song blew me away.
Calgary, did you like Fargo?
I have turned several people on to it, and they all can’t believe how good it is/was.
18 Emmy noms, we’ll see how it turns out. next Monday night.
mils, Calgary, I loved Fargo too and am so happy that it’s coming back for another season, with a new cast.
Despite the fact that I can’t stand Billy Bob Thornton as a person, I do believe that part was written for him and he deserves to win awards for his performances. Black humour really turns my crank, LOL, and this show is so full of it!

Has anyone heard anything about Queen and Adam adding anymore concerts after New Zealand.
angelowal, did you ever see 7 Psychopaths? Black humor.
mils, angelowal I have to like Fargo, it was shot in and around Calgary!
.
And yes, BBT does not seem to be a very nice person, but he sure is good in Fargo! I will watch another episode or two, because I love the young female cop, but if the violence gets to me, I’ll call it a day.
Seriously, I was amazed at the quality, and shocked by the violence.(I have totally forgotten the movie other than discovering Frances McDormand) I’m glad I watched it on a laptop – the blood and gore is easier to take on a small screen.
mils…….no, never even heard of 7 Psychopaths – sounds delicious
. I’ll have to search the Web – thanks for the tip
House of Cards – luv it!!!
, but totally hooked!
The Americans – not black humour, but so intriguing and well written.
GOT – so confusing, so hard to remember all those names
So many great dramas, so little time
.
How tall is Brian May? About 6’4″?
Calgary, mils, I get what you’re saying – I hate violent shows, but somehow, BBT et al do it so casually and for BBT especially, it’s not that deep. It’s just a job and he doesn’t get frazzled, just purposeful. There are moments when I have gone to the kitchen for a drink though – just in case………….
.
6’2″ – http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0006190/bio
or
6’1-1/2″ – http://www.celebheights.com/s/Brian-May-1648.html
And Adam – http://www.celebheights.com/s/Adam-Lambert-47464.html
Ulti, just checked, Brian’s 6′ 2″. I know, to me he seems taller………frequently appears taller than Adam. Must be because he’s got legs right up to his neck, LOL.
Wonder how many contestants on singing shows are gonna be doing Queen songs this next year??
LOLOL. Levine still won’t know that Adam sang with Queen.
Posted on Korean concert thread as well.
Hi wonderful ALLers! Coming in late.. but catching up, nodding my head in agreement and enjoying.
Not sure if luval got a chance to post this here in this thread… but, I felt compelled to write it… I feel like I may be understanding (at least for me!) why Adam is such a phenomenon among “older” ladies & men and it’s best posted here.
lol):
Please excuse me as I hope it’s not too OT with the flow of conversation.
(I know it’s a bit long, but I was inspired!

Ohhhh yes. How very much I relate to Sally.
Her story… her thoughts feelings, questions… very much my own. This common chord transcends our different lives and ages into a fascinating permanence.
It’s so cool… As it’s continually fresh and evolving as Adam evolves.
For so many of us… and, in particular, those of us who have typically found it difficult to live in the “moment” (like me), Adam has given us an enormous gift: He’s enabled us (and our enjoyment of him) to tap into and live from a place inside us that is very special. . . And, also feels the most alive.
It can also be a place that is bit alarming at times; because we don’t always feel controlled (hence, the “obsessing” and sensitivities) living from this emotional and spirited place. … And yet, it is also the very place that is the most loving and felt intensely.
It’s the place from where we express deeper parts of ourselves, and experience uninhibited Joy.
It’s the same place where some of the shy and the otherwise reserved have find their inner boldness to reveal their thoughts & emotions and experience moments of individual liberation. It’s the place that mothers, fathers, parents, grandparents, caretakers – continual “mangers” and “strategists” of other’s lives dependent upon us – daily give ourselves and our sacrifice for the sake and care of others… AND also find a sweet inner respite and delight relishing our own enjoyment without guilt or judgment.
It’s a spontaneous and playful place. The very place inside us that forms relationships naturally, without the standard barriers and reservations we are encumbered with otherwise…. and it takes pleasure in connection and fun with others who are also living from that same place in the same “moment”.
It’s a very special place… Its the place where we fall in love. And it is sacred.
This place… Is the Girl within us. The Boy within us.
And for the adult who has lived much of their lives from all those other places – careers, raising children, marriages caring for families, meeting responsibility headlong, stresses of the world and life’s requirements…
To re-engage that place is especially sweet!
How out of touch with that incredible place a person becomes through the years and for how long… is a determining factor in how shaky and self-questioning a person feels upon re-awakening it. For me, it was like that. And perhaps for Sally, too.
At first you don’t know quite what to do with it…you just know that something is becoming alive again, and that you are actually feeling MORE of yourself.. and who you forgot you were.
The enjoyment of adulation, attraction, pleasure and comfortable familiarity in camaraderie of fangirl/boying on Adam becomes in itself, a enrichment of experience. And yet, how sweet it is… We have welcomed opportunity – through the most unexpected of sources – to become a little more authentic & whole.
It’s no wonder that Adam Lambert fans are among the most dedicated and loyal! His incomparable talent is enough… yet, Adam is also a hero for us because he has, by just being himself, extended to us the opportunity to reawaken this place in us.
He shows us some of what it is to live from that place… because he too, lives there, and has done so courageously – even in the face of challenge, criticism, and encouragement to conform.
He’s remained loyal to his entire self … and in so, he is our champion.
He’s had to choose to do this again and again… remaining loving and open to life, and to not look back with regret. And so, in some ways… We too, get to do the same with our own lives.
We are drawn to his essence… that courage and spirit like fireflies…
and, gay or not… equally to his to brand of appeal & sexuality like bees to honey.
Part of the uniqueness of Adam lies in his special ability to be ALL of these things… spirited, carefree, sexual, un-inhibited, successful, responsible, dedicated… And yet, retain remarkable beauty and love and kindness – even innocence, at times – like that of a child. Untainted and eager to be “present” in each moment.
All too many of us cannot say the same… as we’ve hardened ourselves and have felt forced to overcompensate and over-suppress that place within us… through the functions and appearances we find necessary & relational to our everyday world; where we protect ourselves and feel it necessary to chameleon in order to “be” for so many.
And so in doing this, Adam is a worthy subject of a fascinating blend of our envy and our hero.
We eat it up, and enjoy him doing all this – for us. (at least it feels that way).
And with him doing this… we do it ourselves, too.
This affable, shamelessly imperfect, child-like place is part of his appeal… and contributes to those “goofy” guffaws (evident in his concert segues, TP’s, candid pictures, and interviews) that we’ve come to relish.
Those moments are un-scripted, open, genuine and unrehearsed spontaneous. He’s at His BEST like this….
And deep inside…. We know that so are We.
It’s a freedom that we all crave.
Adam has shown the courage to be this on the international stage, before the world. It’s no wonder we feel this intense emotion! We adore him for it.
Add to all that Adam’s unabashed humbleness and gratefulness towards us – his fans – and he continues to thank us and the people who put him where he is.
This warms us inside in that special inner “place”…and inspires as well.
This is one reason why he feels like “our Guy”.
The fact that he is remarkably handsome and titillatingly sensual & earthy… and yet, in a way that isn’t “perfect” (he’s capable of some of the appearance goofs and challenges that each of us have) gives him approachability.
We can reach him – impact him, even – and this makes him that much more intoxicating and appealing when combined with the extraordinary qualities already mentioned.
As Paula Abdul has said … Adam IS the whole package.
Brian May is a great example of what has happened to us all with Adam.
He, too, seems to have reawakened this inner “place”.
Dr. Bri is coming alive again to that part of himself… even to the point of being endearingly child-like in the simplest of things – evident in his concert photos, tweets, and interviews… about touring again with Adam, travelling, musings, discovery of “selfies” with his camera stick, and reactions of defense and protectiveness of Adam.
Honestly, As I’ve observed through the years, Brian may appears more publicly expressive in his face, words and manner than at any other time as a guitarist with Queen.
Indeed, Brian… Adam has “woken” you up.
We understand completely – as he’s done the same with us – in varying ways.
And it’s a pleasure for us to witness this in your life.
I’m happy to take part in this special experience and – like Sally…. I’m not giving it up either.
In fact, it has taken courage to even write all of this.
And it feels goooood.
In doing so… I run the variable risk that some readers, even here in ALL, may think me odd, fanatical, too verbose and not relate to me.
And, yet… (and, I mean this kindly)… I don’t care enough to not do it and express these things.
Thank you Adam.
And, thank you my sisterhood and brotherhood of Lambert fans.
I appreciate you guys!
Delighted to be part of this delightful experience that each of us feels and enjoys her/his own special way. Yay for you, Sally!
Like you…. I’m so enjoying the ride.
sistasmalls

smalls, you crazy nut! How could any of us here think you
You personify all that we hold dear about this wonderful ride that our extraordinary Adam has taken us on. I only wish that I had the skill to expound on the subject as artfully and articulately as you.
Thank-you all for so often saying so much that I feel, but usually can’t express.
.
Such a beautiful post..you laid it all down, smalls

smalls, brilliant and epic post! A literary selfie of all of us more or less
!
As I recall, Adam has always said he is 6’1″, not 6’0″ per that blog. He looks 1/2″ or 1″ shorter than Brian but definitely not 2″.

Very clever!
Thanks, luval

And thanks for the “older ladies” article!
Interesting riders….
Must say Brian and Roger are Brits after my own heart….definitely NO TO PEPSI…yuck!!! Coke all the way
Adams list is the smallest, just veggies. water and a few drinks…double yuck to red bull…..
great post smalls…
OMG. All around here in our threads I’ve been listening to this song.
I love it!! Particularly Japan’s performance.
Adam’s voice and delivery of it is astonishingly Beautiful.
Korea’s performance was great, too… it was so cute when QAL seemed elated at the end of it with, “we did it!”
I don’t prefer other treasured songs getting the axe for QAL’s necessary shortened segments, but… this one is a real Treat.
(I DO miss LK and TSMGO, though. Hoping it’s the not last we’ve heard them on this tour?
)
Love your post … smalls.
