As July ends, so does a fantastic series of concerts by Queen and Adam across North America. It will be a summer that many ALLers will never forget! Q+AL take a few weeks break before heading off to Asia and then for concerts Down Under. If the reception there is anything like it was here, Q+AL can expect to get some major loving!

    Just saw Adamized‘s and ulti‘s comments re Kris Allen’s new album.
    I love that some here still look out for him and his music while we stan Adam. No H8!
    (Actually, Adamized and I are going to a Kris Allen concert – her second – next month in New Hampshire. We’ll report back!)

    So will Queen be doing a full show on the 17th? Twitter us listing 11 other acts that day. Queen is listed first.

    From the concert timetable, Queen is the last act on the main stage in each city. They are scheduled to start at 19:30 each night and finish before 21:00 – less than 90 minutes!? So they may be doing a shortened set each night.

    Also think he may be growing it in a bit. Looks fuller to me than it has the last few weeks. He always looks great… but it doesn’t look quite as nicely trim & groomed to me this way.

    Even less hair on his head… and more on his face?

    Has anyone official actually said that the version of Love Kills that will be on the “Queen Forever” album will feature Adam’s vocals? It seems that since Adam is singing the reworked version, people assume that he will be singing it on the album, but I have never heard it said. I sort of assumed that they would rework the background arrangements but still use Freddie’s voice.

    Oops – that’s true, rs. Thanks for pointing that out. My assumption of Adam covering the song on QF was based, in part, on another assumption I made that the only material Queen has to work with for remaster was the one Freddie released as a solo.
    That solo has a very different cadence & tempo, and would be difficult to remaster.
    However, upon further study, I’ve read that Queen had begun to work with Freddie on the song for a prior album when Freddie was still alive, so they may have other recordings in place.

    Anyway…I’ll try not to make assumptions!Foot-In-Mouth
    Hopefully, I’m cured. Wink

    I think Adam has said while announcing Love Kills that it will be a re-working of Freddie’s song and vocals. I really never got the impression that it would be Adam doing the vocals on the new Queen album.

    That being said, I would not be surprised if Queen did include Adam on something, if not this album, the next one. I also got the impression that most of the work for the Queen album was completed before the tour started.

    If Brian and Roger were smart ( and they are, but they drag their feet in releasing stuff ) , they would get Adam into the studio ASAP, and also release a DVD of the tour. Strike while the iron is hot.

    The tat is probably beautiful close up, mils, but from a distance the top part of the arm looks, to me, like a big bruise.

    During the first concerts when Adam announced about it being on the new album, there was something about the wording he used that made me go, mmmm, methinks it will be his (Adams) version on the cd. But then he changed the way he said it, and hopes were dashed and I thought, nope its Freddies.
    But like smalls said, I couldn’t see how, even with technology, they could change a disco recording to a power ballad without distorting the voice so it was unrecognizable.

    mils… these may show you a bit more on the tats. I saved them to my desktop & blew them up. I was able to see the face somewhat clearly; the ribbon, details on his shoulder, some added some fill in and shading.

    Perhaps these will enlarge a little better?
