If he is actually on total voice rest, let’s say, it would probably be just a few days before concert time (and in between concerts) to allow for cords healing, and/or just to prevent any add’l injury as pre-caution. He could still do sound checks, etc, and it’s actually quite common with touring artists (especially powerhouses like Adam. Many vocal artists get them at some point or another. It’s like a callous on the feet of a marathoner, let’s say. Freddie even developed nodules while on tour because of the strain associated with Queen’s challenging music).
And, it’s not a real cause for concern, unless there is no rest period and no treatment (steroids, doctors). It seems to me that Adam would have a hard time not using his voice going out with friends, etc, for the last two weeks, I would think? If he consumed any alcohol, around smoke, etc… speculatively, that could possibly mean overcompensating with vocal rest time as well.
I would hope/think that nodules wouldn’t be an issue, but Adam would be virtually an immortal for that to not come up as at least in the realm of conversation after the beating his cords have taken in last several weeks, imo. It takes several months for cords to fully heal if there were any nodules.
He does also have that $40+ million insurance policy on his voice to stay in compliance with. (?)
Anyway… Nodules are probably not happening. I don’t know.
I notice there are no interviews, either. That’s unusual, too, imo. Again, requires speaking?
All speculation. Just throwing out ideas…

The Indonesian Glamberts were at the soundcheck – so he must be OK, I’d think.

My theory – he colored his hair and he doesn’t want anyone to see it before the show.
And in my memory, Adam definitely does not always tweet his whereabouts before shows or necessarily say “hello” to a new country. That’s why WITWIAL was invented in the first place! (“Where in the world is Adam Lambert”) Besides, he has tweeted a couple of times in the last several hours, so we know he’s kickin’.

I just can’t figure out how he has managed to fly under the radar, someone always ferrets him out.
I do feel like he normally tweets when he arrives somewhere when it is a concert or appearance. He has never hidden like this when there was a show coming up. At least to my knowledge.
