Such a striking, iconic figure of class & sex appeal. An electrifying actress.

Okay, so I went to KLH and couldn’t find any trace of the Brian May interview, but, I did find a hilarious piece where Gino Salamone recalls his times with Robin Williams. Gino does celebrity interviews and is often on national broadcasts, ET, Extra ,etc. Milw is his home city. He also recalls the story I told, about when Robin popped in to Comedy Sportz.

Adam is an alien from Planet Fierce, Superman is an alien from Planet Krypton. Maybe Adam is Superman! That would surely explain a lot (such as the effect of his eyebeams at close range) and he does have that “Clark Kent” dorky alter ego, complete with glasses, disguise down pat! LOL!!

July 2014 did have the record number of total comments for the site at 4766. The previous record was 4620 in May 2012 (Trespassing release). Those July comments were spread out across many more concert threads than they were in May 2012, when they were mostly concentrated in the monthly thread. July also had the heaviest site traffic we have seen so far, with 26789 unique visitors and 730990 hits. That number of unique visitors was more than triple what we averaged for Jan-June 2014.
RIP Betty Perske (aka Lauren Bakall, but her friends always called her Betty), one of the Grand Dames of Hollywood, and one of the most gorgeous. I have my own little Lauren Bacall story which brings back warm memories and makes her special for me. Many, many years ago my mother and I were both in New York at the same time (probably for a family occasion), and we went together to see the Broadway production of The Great White Hope with the amazing James Earl Jones. It was the only time that just the two of us ever went to a Broadway play together. While we were waiting for the play to begin my mother told me that the last time she had been to a play in New York, she had seen Lauren Bacall who had come to see the show, too. Just as she finished telling me the story, who should walk in but Lauren Bacall herself! It was such a coincidence. She was absolutely stunning in person. My mother has been gone for many years now, but whenever I see Lauren Bacall on TV or in movies, I remember that special moment and it makes me smile

The more exposure I have to Brain May the more and more I am bowled over by his intelligence, generosity, continued curiosity about life. He is one of those rare spirits who while not being immune to or unaware of life’s darker side, remains positive and even joyful. It must be the perfect balance of the right and left side of his brain. I want some of that!
