axxxel, thank you! Yes, better, and the distractions here really helped. A health issue for my mother not as serious as feared after doctor appt today, and my son’s car vandalized and his phone stolen, but he was able to track the phone (an iPhone) and its coordinates place it in a juvenile detention center in a neighboring city!
Tomorrow he will let the detective know where it is.

Couldn’t agree more. His dramatic work was very gripping and inspiring.
Imo, one would forget he/she was seeing a fictional portrayal.
Robin’s characters became alive.
As if part of himself was in each role. Patch Adams as well….
Cried like a baby watching that one.
“Awakenings”… incredibly inspiring. His characterization was a masterpiece.
(not to mention De Niro).

And remember his role in Hamlet? Perfect. It was brilliant out-of-the-box casting.

“Williams had already wrapped on “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” in which he reprises his role as Teddy Roosevelt for the third time. It opens Dec. 19.
He also starred in the Dito Montiel drama “Boulevard,” which screened at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival but has not found a distributor.
Also wrapped but not yet released is “Merry Friggin’ Christmas,” in which he stars with Candice Bergen and Lauren Graham. Phase 4 Films will release the holiday comedy on Nov. 7. Williams also provided the voice of Dennis the Dog in British live-action comedy “Absolutely Anything,” set to be released next year.”
Oh, wow. He was so busy. I hadn’t any idea he has movies coming out.

Just watched tons of Robin Williams stand up with son #2. That Inside the Actor’s Studio was comedy gold. I hope it gets replayed on Bravo or HBO. I have a feeling they’ll “salute” him on some show. I also wonder how Whoopie and Billy Crystal are holding up. They just lost a dear friend.

So sad and shocking about Robin Williams. Was never a huge fan of his humour per se, always found it a bit too manic, but he was a great guy, and had done some great films. One of Hollywoods finest.
And awful news about the videos…I still have loads to catch up on, and I’ve never learnt how to make them into dvds…never even save them….I’d better start learning quick.

My son is in Korea teaching. He texted me at his girlfriends in Seoul, I told his to go check out the venue, but he said its probably a madhouse over there.
, Anyhow I may convince him to go see.
He teaches at a small college near Seoul, and for some reason had a discussion with an older lady student about Queen and Adam and Freddie. I couldnt believe it, they watched BR together and discussed Adams voice and Freddies voice. Of course I got in an (argument) discussion with him. He is a music teacher after all, anyhow his remarks are Freddie sings from the gut, (so) and Adams voice is to Operatic (so)? He does agree Adams voice is good just tho. (unraw)? and Freddie sometimes couldnt hit the high notes. Well at least we didnt argue about it much.
Im sure I cant get him to crawl over there tho!
