So I have been watching some of Gigi’s videos, the ones where Gregory now Gigi talks about coming out and her choices re surgery and life…I like her a lot. She is my son’s age and making some questionable choices IMHO about the additional cosmetic plastic surgeries, but she seems happy as who she is and her eyes are sparkly and intelligent.
Gotta say I am curious about where all the money comes from…girl routinely wears Louboutins!

Truly though, how beautiful? The wistful, happy, and contented expression, while waiting for the Ste. Agathe concert to start, captures the beauty of the person that I’m happy to know as my friend.

That empty space behind Kradamour is where I was sitting with with nkd, adamized and Ceddies.
Kradamour stood the whole time! 3 hours and 20 minutes until show time and she stood there all that time!
Immediately to Kradamours right, we have a lovely shot of the top of luval‘s hair
But, directly below dear lovel‘s hair, is another beautiful lady, whom we didn’t know at the time, and was just another person waiting for the show to start.
It’s such a small world, asmallworld, because she lives here in Toronto
I don’t have her permission to use her name so, all I can say is, she posts a lot of wonderful videos that she takes herself, at Adam concerts, and has generously shared them with us here on ALL.

From what I’ve heard here and seen in videos… that was a very special concert, with several of you wonderful ALLers creating unforgettable memories together.
Secondly … I have thought the very same about Adam.
Wow, how remarkably far he has come…
With Era3 around the corner … what will he do for a band that won’t seem even a tad bit of a let down after a world-class act behind him such as he’s enjoyed for the last few months? This is the band of his dreams. As much as I respect and have enjoyed Adam’s band from previous eras – they are talented, no doubt, and Adam is very loyal – but Queen is, well… QUEEN. An international, iconic sensational band unlike very many others.
A double sided sword, perhaps? Chance of a lifetime opportunity for Adam, major thrust in his career…. and yet, at the same turn, maybe difficult to go back to fronting productions that aren’t on that level? Will it be difficult to adjust?
Imo, It’s going to be reeeeally interesting to see what Adam does next.
And SO much FUN.
And whatever it is…. we know it will be jaw-dropping & fabulous.
It’s Adam. He can’t help it… it’s who he is.

The little “flickers”… lol. Love it.
I do enjoy his enthusiasm in this video and with it, his perfectionist streak.
It’s part of what makes him so great.

Brings to my mind a quote he’s brought up a few times in interviews in the last two years or so. I recall him saying he tries to adopt it as words to live by:

Standard m-o on Sundays for DH and the anniversary made no difference. Then had to attend a birthday party for one of his nieces so spent the evening with family which was fine. Now back to my paperwork for July. Deadline today so it’ll be done when the sun comes up…. love to procrastinate.

I never noticed has bamboo shirt in that video before. He really does keep and wear his favorite shirts for years.
Well now, riskylady you will absolutely have to see Adam in concert next time around because, after the surgery is complete – he will be very, very clear, indeed.

Brian didn’t mince his words, did he? Sounded more like Roger, actually. He must be getting fed up. He’s been very patient. I hope his feet and knees and fingers don’t give him too much trouble over the next few weeks.
Love that video turquoisewaters; a wonderful glimpse of Adam as a hungry young man. It is particularly fun to watch with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight. However much more he wants for himself (and we for him) he has done very, very well.
Darling M, If you are lurking, this is for you. I hope that your post-QAL landing hasn’t been too stressful, and that you are adjusting back to the realities of daily life after the adrenaline high of your 9 (was it?) concerts this summer. You and your lovely P (my photography mentor) were the only ones who were with me for all three of my concerts. And we shared especially close quarters (I hope not too close) in the pit at Merriweather, but I hope that it was worth it, being within feet of Adam when he sang Jimmy-crack-corn and when Brian performed his amazing solo right in front of us. I miss you sweetie
. Please don’t go back to permanent lurker status again. Come back and play with us.
