As July ends, so does a fantastic series of concerts by Queen and Adam across North America. It will be a summer that many ALLers will never forget! Q+AL take a few weeks break before heading off to Asia and then for concerts Down Under. If the reception there is anything like it was here, Q+AL can expect to get some major loving!

    I think that the first time he wore the white pants was on Idol in “Mad World”. I swear I would bring a picture over if I knew how, but it is easy to find. Does anyone else agree?

    Who has the pics of the reason why the white pants were not worn again. Somebody posted a group of pics a few days before we went to Toronto 2. I saw in one of them , and tried to post it here, but the whole group was re-posted. Trust me.

    The proof is in the pic. And barely contained by the white pants. The pic I have in mind has plenty to offer, as well as a look from Brian in that direction with a very funny reaction to the eye full of plenty.

    If you cut and paste from above post bqui-j0ceaiyuc6/jpg a whole web site comes up. Then scroll to the bottom, there are a series of thumbnail pictures. About 3/4 of the way down are picture with the white pants, This one is in the second up and down row. I hope someone can bring it up here???

    Ah, Ste Agathe! Truly one for the history books. And we envisioned it! We made it happen! Well, we tried to envision Quebec City but this was close enough.

    It would be worthwhile, smalls, to go and read the recaps – it was a truly iconic concert. I hate that word, but it was.

    The other concert that is a must-read is Wilkes Barre opening the Trespassing era. Adam had not performed for quite a while and was so delighted to be on stage with us again and so patient with us after the show, really keeping us in line, he was much like an elementary school teacher keeping his class in order…

    Those two concerts were special in some ways that the more mainstream tour concerts – even the ones that are just off the charts wonderful – aren’t. There was an intimacy and a connection to us that was endearing and touching and empowering and just very, very special. I am glad that so many of us experienced those two concerts.

    The AL concert that I am sorry to have missed is the Lubbock abattoir during glamnation. Ah, well.

    Dear retjenny, thanks for asking. As several of you said, the surgery was a breeze. Just felt like I was underwater looking up at a light and some green dots.
    Still coming to terms with the results, though. Seems the doc thought I wanted a lens for reading only, and now the TV which is only 8 feet away is blurry. He promises to work it out though, with the next eye.

    I just got for distance so I still wear glasses for reading and computer but everything is clearer and brighter.

    Here are are bunch of videos and some pics we took when we went to see Adam Lambert perform with Queen. I got a bit lazy with the captions this time, but it seemed silly to just put “Holy crap!” on every one.
