As July ends, so does a fantastic series of concerts by Queen and Adam across North America. It will be a summer that many ALLers will never forget! Q+AL take a few weeks break before heading off to Asia and then for concerts Down Under. If the reception there is anything like it was here, Q+AL can expect to get some major loving!

    OK, I have a Question for the experts here. Since I was away for much of July and couldn’t watch the vids for the concerts I didn’t attend, and have been “otherwise engaged” since returning home, I haven’t seen all of the concert videos. I remember noticing for the first few shows that I saw, that Adam exited to the right side of the stage at the end of the show while Roger and Brian exited left. At some point he three of then began leaving together from the same side of the stage. It may seem like a small thing, but I noticed it in Toronto and it seemed to bring them more together. My question is, when did it start and was it consistent? I know that I could watch all the endings, but I really have to get on with my picture editing, so did anyone else notice this? Was it already discussed here in my absence?

    Yes he did wear white pants during Mad World, but not the same white pants as in Chicago.

    Why? Still question that. Men obviously don’t have nipples. IDK

    One gal’s opinion –

    I’ve seen this video before several times . . . .
    And I am still simply in awe of the brilliancy of Adam’s voice here. It’s flawless. . . lower registers controlled & dynamic, top notes so clear & luminous… with every note I am amazed. The quality and texture to his voice is unparalleled.
    The way he actually crafts his songs is simply superior.

    Admittedly, one can grow almost fairly accustomed to his genius … knowing full well that what you are hearing and witnessing is the master behind the creations. He is just so exceptional, you expect his performances to be exceptional… as though getting behind the wheel of a world-class sports car, it will perform with the tour de force of it’s nature & design – every time.

    And yet, if you step away … even if just a few days… you are just blown away all over again. It’s vocal marvel we’re witnessing here. Perfection.
    The Luciano of the rock/pop world.

    On that note, (pun intended)….

    I was digging again… perusing various Adam events during lunch and found this treasure. The video is produced beautifully. And again, I am rendered awestruck by his impassioned song-writing and gripping performance. Pure beauty:

    Oh, the riddles he leaves us with!

    I thought perhaps the change was made to walk out all together for a demonstration of unity & solidarity? (Brian & Roger putting forward, in a subtle way that “he’s with us, a part of us… not just a stand-in”).
    It seems to me that all throughout this NA tour Brian, Adam & Roger were reassessing the finer details of their routines… analyzing them for tweaks and improvements… and making adjustments accordingly for the best possible result. Smile

Many ALLers,(alas myself not included Big Frown ) were at St Agathe and witnessed that performance of OOL, the first time any song off of the Trespassing album was sung in concert. It was the first time many ALLers met each other and that weekend is etched in memory forever as one of the greatest!

    Does anyone remember where and what song Adam ended on his back spread eagle on the stage floor ( awesome body profile) and Neil and Brian followed with one knee down on the floor. I think that is the only time Adam did that. Would be a nice one to put on the list.

    I was there! First row balcony with riskylady sitting next to me. Lots of ALLers were there, won’t name them all for fear of leaving someone out. We were in hysterics when the pants split….and he just kept right on singing, never missed a beat. That is our boy!

    So I’ve started my research with some of the questions you’ve asked and not asked. The last time Don’t stop me Now was performed was June 26th in Calgary.

    And from what I can tell (because some of the WATC videos don’t go all the way to the walk off the stage), LA was the first time they all walked off together on one side. Saskatoon they left separately… Edmonton, Calgary & Vancouver I couldn’t find videos with them walking off at all.
