As July ends, so does a fantastic series of concerts by Queen and Adam across North America. It will be a summer that many ALLers will never forget! Q+AL take a few weeks break before heading off to Asia and then for concerts Down Under. If the reception there is anything like it was here, Q+AL can expect to get some major loving!

    I love the idea of putting together a virtual “best of” concert list. Have actually started one of my own a long time ago but it is leaning much towards the shows I have seen.
    Anyway, I nominate the Detroit Killer Queen. Those leg kicks are killing me and I find it hilarious when the fan opens first only half way and then he gives it a hard second flick. Also love the eyerolling with Brian. I don’t mind the spitting part in the context of the song, but don’t like it so much in the end. Spitting on people is just not a very attractive look for me. (I know, I know, this is very different if you are yourself in the spitting zone. Maybe I’m just jealous. Razz )

    I’d have to agree if it were anyone else doing the spitting on me! But yes, I bought tickets to specifically be in the spray area, and somehow it worked out and it was the best night of my life! Razz Laugh
    It still puts the biggest smile on my face when I think about it! Grin

    Morning ALL I have a couple of great butt shots from Toronto I that I will ask AL to post here for me. I really have to figure out a way to do it myself. Still working on the photos. I am halfway through the MSG concert. Merriweather still to go and them I will make an album to be posted.

    Thanks to ron I opened a Picture Trail account, but when I tried to upload the two close-up butt pics, I got a message that the photos are too big! I don’t want to reduce the size of the originals, but this one did come through. It isn’t a but pic, but it was taken just afterward and is from the back. Let’s see if I succeed in bringing it here.

    Hi rs! Hug Right

    You can still keep the photo at it’s original size but also reduce it.

    Right click on the photo and click on the option “Save Image As”.

    Rename the photo – simply by putting an “A” (without the brackets) after the photo name. Not after the .jpg extension but after the photo name. Then click on “Save”.

    Now you have two copies of the same photo and both are the same size. But then go to the one you just marked with an “A” after the name and reduce it.

    This way you’ve kept the original sized photo intact but now have a second one that you can make how ever large or small you want or it needs to be.

    Hope this helps!

    Perhaps to the growing list we should add a special feature:
    “Ode to the White Pants” or something to that effect.

    So here is my opinion on the white pants (and confession again…I never really cared for them. They remind me of what I wear to work sometimes in my hospital).

    I think after looking at the playback he may have felt they looked too much like something Freddie wore. Like at Live Aid. Perhaps didn’t fit the look of the show…black, gold and red. Maybe too casual looking instead of wardrobe or costume.

    And of course they were in the If I Had You Video. Just took a look at that again. The Vevo video has over 43 million views. And people are still commenting as recent as 2 days ago. With not so nice comments sprinkled in as usual. God he looks sooooooo gorgeous to me in that video. His look in that video does remind me somewhat of white pants in Chicago…leather jacket, etc.

    Glitch niche is genius!! We have to continue this album in this down time.
