Forgot to say earlier I play Words With Friends on my Kindle Fire, but my daughter plays it on her phone or sometimes on her computer through her Facebook page. You don’t have to have a smartphone or a tablet to play it.
There is also Scramble with Friends which I am terrible at. LOL
Well, guys, all I know is I love Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit ( I probably honed my Adam Trivia skillz on this ) and Jeopardy. I would love to play Words with Friends. Maybe on a plane on my way to a Queenbert show. LOL. I’d make the news like Alec Baldwin!

Check a University area. That’s where you mostly find the independent stores, although the one I go to is in a “soho” type area here in Syracuse, NY. Just make sure they use soundscan.

It is not all independent music stores. Some don’t count any. You have to find the ones that count for more than one. Usually it is the places that have artists in for signings because the record companies know which ones count for more than one.

I don’t remember Marilyn Monroe, embarrassing to admit, but I don’t think I’ve even seen any of her movies….However I remember clearly sitting in the bathroom crying after hearing Elvis had died.
I don’t have a juicer, and all the receipes sound awful, can’t see me trying any of those anytime soon. I actually only drink about 6 things…
I don’t have a smart phone either, just a basic mobile that make phone calls and texts.

Checked D.C., MD, VA for record stores – found five listed – two (Orpheus and Melody) going out of business. Another is mainly a guitar store, and the other two – CD Cellar and Roadhouse Oldies – used stuff.
Guess they’re pretty much all gone around here – will keep checking though unlikely.

My kids are always going on at me being techno challenged, but I’m getting there, learning new things slowly.
And its my birthday in 2 days, maybe my hubby will take pity on me and upgrade my phone or something…He did get me a tablet for xmas, but I don’t find it that easy to use, certainly haven’t worked out how to use it to its full potential. I think an ipad would be easier.

Adam was two bars into Trespassing in those red pants and pictures of the Crazy pants were already being researched and tweeted. Nothing gets past us!
Kradamour, it’s 7 including the assailant. And several in our Level One Trauma Hospital with serious injuries, including a police officer, the one who killed him. Two survivors were shot in the face. The guy targeted men in turbans, and had a 9/11 tattoo. Big dummy couldn’t tell the difference between Sikhs and his most likely intended victims, Muslims. Not any better, just ignorant on his part.
The news conference tomorrow will have more details. I feel dirty knowing this happened in my metro area.
I’d much rather flail over Sauli’s picture. And hope for a topless photo of Adam. We know he’s not wearing one in private. But, he’ll probably have at least three layers on in a photo for us and a hat and a necklace, and big sunglasses and dork shorts and dork sandals. Oh Adam. Some things never change.

Today was the day I was going to catch up here and recap the trip to DesMoines. How does the saying go “best laid plans…” I will come back with the concert stuff and dinner recap. But I stopped in to see what milws said about the shootings. I needed a place to hang.
The temple is only 1/2 mile from my sisters home. About 1.5 from another’s. My youngest sister called and the policemen that were doing the news duty – she went to school with both of them. We are awaiting information about the officer that was shot. I have 8 brothers and sisters that live right around there – within 4 miles. We just know one of my siblings will know the officer that was shot. In fact my brother is out here for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally (we get 250,000 people over a two to three week period). He was employed by the city until Gov. Walker went after the unions. He will know who that officer is for sure. So many people think that this temple is related to the Arab culture. I wouldn’t be surprised if the shooter didn’t make that same mistake. And another concern is I have a niece that is a police woman in Kenosha about 15 miles down the road from Oak Creek. I’m always worried about her safety. So many thoughts. I’m just so saddened that this happened where I grew up safe and sound.

Agree, HK fan – it seems pretty dull over at MJ’s – didn’t know if it was just me, my waning interest in the show, the constant praise of Kelly and Carrie (I can live without both of them, especially Carrie), the departure of the more interesting posters, and the stranglehold MJ has on any Adam comment. Almost afraid to mention his name – lol. It’s all become so very bland. Don’t think I’ll miss Idol or MJ’s as much as I thought I might. For me, think the fun’s pretty much over.
Only an Adam appearance would excite me again.
Another terrible event – just hope the usuals don’t jump in to make political hay out of it.

Adam with Queen is something to remember the lifetime! I wrote some kind of recap the next day in London on 12th Queen thread and some later feelings on July thread when I got home… But it was not a good detailed recap, because I was so speechless 
And I was far and so strongly living it by myself, I only remembered that great fun feeling! The crowd around you made it so great to be there (or slightly less on 11th). Some peeps that were in GA have very interesting recaps, concerning Queen fans too. But I have “lived” those concerts by videos hundred times afterwards. I downloaded TALCvids and some others of the 12th and been watching them also on tv screen. They also have some very good ones from 14th.
Yes I finally managed to meet some peeps here on 12th after the concert. So at least I know many faces! I talked to some and said hi to a few more
Unfortunately I wasn’t there on the dinner night and couldn’t catch the group that met on 11th after concert, I wish it had been longer connect. It’s difficult to meet a big group of people you don’t know at a short time!
