After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

I don’t remember that interview about his natural roots showing! LOL But I do see them in the close-up photos.

I had bleach blonde hair once. When it started growing out I had to get the roots re-done & re-toned. It was impossible to keep the dye from getting on the already bleached hair. So eventually it took on different tones, got very very dry & straw like from the constant bleaching. I eventually just let it grow out to natural brown.

Adam could do that…let his hair naturally grow out without any dye whatsoever, but I just don’t see him as a strawberry blond! Maybe it’s time, though. Let his hair get healthy then start over again! Grows like a weed so it wouldn’t take much time.

Happy belated birthday to all the Leos and Happy Birthday to all the Virgos. Have lots of friends and relatives with these birthdays and I have to say that my favorite Leos are male and my favorite Virgos are gals.( There are exceptions of course).I for one am really liking the new hair. I think it may be around for awhile. It’s like he’s revitalized by it. He just seem to glow and I like the grey he’s added to his wardrobe.

We did Chinese takeout and bought lottery tickets with the fortune cookie numbers – If when we win, we’ll buy buses for the tour! (so wish us luck!)
My husband gave me a CD of the season 8 five-song EP…didn’t know it existed! Adam’s voice is so much richer now, very interesting. I hadn’t listened to the Idol songs since the beginning of the ride. Cool.

hollywood:

They did 8 cities in 6 weeks. Here is the schedule:

8/17 & 18
8/30 & 31
9/2 & 3
Big gap here

This year they have 7 cities and we know they have to be done by 10/13, at the latest, so that Minaj can get to Paris for her 10/14 show.

but I am happy for Adam that he can have a concert in a happening of his own people – to me it tells that he is being more accepted and wanted performer in LGBT community…? Is that Matinee a “big thing” – can it be the reason why Adam hurried back and the stuff he had promised to keep his mouth shut? Or do you think there’s something much bigger?

Interesting news. Nick Jonas has been signed as a guest mentor on X Factor. Two shows only but the conclusion being drawn is that this is a consolation prize for not getting Idol. Both shows are Fox shows and they are not in direct competition so this is a “help-me-out” between managements.

Nice to know that a key competitor may be out of the running. Just have to get rid of that pesky Enrique Iglesias now. LOL.

How wonderful that adamized and Kradamour were able to share their birthdays together last night with part 2 taking place today. Having spent some time with these lovely ladies, I envisioned them entering Chippendales at around midnight to celebrate, but enjoying each others company, take-out Chinese and a new Adam CD … who could ask for anything better? Good luck with those lottery tickets!

Yet another write-in campaign for Adam? Does it make a difference? I don’t think any one of us can answer that. Do we want to ~~bother~~ get involved? I did.

It’s for the Grammys on their official site. Disappointed (very) but not surprised to see that Adam’s name isn’t listed. If you want to vote, check ‘Other’ then ‘comment’ and type in Adam Lambert. At least that’s how it worked for me when I found this on Facebook. The percentage votes for the artists listed are miniscule compared to the votes for ‘Other’ and, at this time, ALL of the nearly 500 write-ins are for Adam.

Hi All,
Been a while since I last posted. It was great seeing lots of you in Wilkes Barre and London. Unfortunately, those were my last Adam hurrahs for a while.
In June, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and in late July, I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Thank God I am recovering well, and will be starting a chemo regimen in the next few weeks that will take me through at least the end of the year. So, no concerts or mass gatherings for me in the immediate future.
Adam has proven to be a great distraction and I plan on following him throughout my treatment via the internet, or maybe on tv, if he gets the idol gig. Thank God for youtube!! I look forward to being able to continue my obsession in person!
Take care, and I hope (plan) on meeting up with lots of you at future concerts after all this shit is behind me!!!

It was great meeting you at WB and I am so sorry that you have had to go through surgery without all the HT&P (hopes, thoughts and prayers – a term I coined a while back) of the ALL family. We, the royal we, will now concentrate our HT&P efforts on your treatment over the next few months! Adam is the most amazing distraction – we need to get you to him – I know that smile of his radiates so much positive energy that it might cure you on the spot! Focus on Queen + Adam in the US – I believe you can will it to happen!
