After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

    Also, this is kinda fun. Here is the translation of Sauli and Katri’s latest Tutka video. In it, Sauli talks about some amusing travails getting through the immigration line at the San Francisco airport when coming back from Japan, as well as his reaction to that wacky photo that is being used to promote Big Brother Finland – the one of the woman with two little dogs named Adam and Sauli. Pretty funny!

    Thank you so much cwm/strong> for that awesome recap of Adam’s activities these past couple of weeks. I left just after the interview in the park but hadn’t seen or heard about any of the concerts in Japan. I checked out the “this is love” cover, which I absolutely loved! I just heard the sidewalk Trespassing and it was gorgeous. I will have lots of catching up to do when I get home.

    By the way, I went into the HMV here and there was one copy of Trespassing for 10 pounds sterling, or 2 for 15!

    Does anybody have any idea when the Idol announcement about the judges will be?

    I am totally out of the picture concerning personal blog stuff, but I gather that there are some birthdays around about now, so have very very happy birthdays kradamour and adamized.

    I am off to continue exploring Edinburgh.

    cwm, I think I watched that Sauli-tutka in Finnish and remember he said he was shocked or confused about the advertisement where they used his and Adam’s faces! It remained unclear if he had seen the dog thing. Do you remember seeing an ad with boys’ faces?

    Ok I checked it, the picture of the boys is in the dog ad in the woman’s shirt. That part in the vid was bad sound, I didn’t hear it then.

    LadyNorth — yes, apparently the photos of Adam and Sauli are on the woman’s T-shirt. Sauli’s not so sure it was ok to use Adam’s likeness in a BB Finland ad. Good job watching out for Adam’s interests, Sauli!

    jlurksacto Thank you so much for sending the DVD so quickly. It arrived in today’s mail. I was not expecting priority mail. This was so very generous of you and it’s just in time for my birthday this week.

    “Isaac” didn’t affect us here in Central FL too much. Some wind and rain, but as they keep saying around here “we need the rain!” It’s been clear this afternoon/early evening, and the temps are cooler.

    I am wondering if Adam is finding the lighter hair hard to manage. I think he might have put the purple shampoo in to “adjust” it and then didn’t like what he saw. At least with black he could count on a stable base – basic black.

    He said in an interview that is was actually less trouble than the black to keep up. He said he like the way it looks with his natural roots showing. Said he is a dirty strawberry blonde.
