After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

    Just came from checking out MJ’s after we couldn’t get the livestream. She has an article that according to Country Vibe (?magazine?), Keith Urban has confirmed that he has accepted an Idol judging position. I didn’t take time to read the comments.

    eywflyer, thanks for the update. Happy to know that your house is secured and that your friends took care of that for you and you didn’t have to come back in to work. Sounds like you’re seeing a lot of great places. That’s a trip that I’ve always wanted to make. Maybe someday!

    Sources have confirmed exclusively to The Country Vibe that Keith Urban has accepted an offer from American Idol to sit at the judges table next to Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and a rumored fourth judge that will likely not be Randy Jackson for the upcoming season of the show.

    Still not from Idol or Keith Urban. Sources? (probably true tho)

    I sent my drummer friend the Sunrise WWFM & interview. He is now hooked. When I first introduced him to Adam he said “not for me”. Until the EMA’s Here is what he said:

    Seeing him so comfortable in whatever situation is as appealing as the song he sings. You can’t help but like the guy! Really happy for him.

    Wow…stay safe people

    Eywflyer was in the same park..Denali National Park…where a lone hiker was mauled to death by a bear yesterday. And Texas was in NYC the same day as the Empire State Bldg. crazy gunman!

    I checked Keith Urban’s concert dates. I don’t see anything after September 4th. Perhaps Idol will have a news conference in the next couple of weeks to introduce the new judges whoever they may be.

    But oddly I see Urban has 2013 tour days 1/25, 1/26, 1/30 & 2/1 in Australia. Isn’t that when Idol is on?

    Blush I don’t know how to get the Kiew dvd. Can anyone direct me to the proper place and procedure?
    I’m so behind. I don’t even know what the panties said! Man.
    Anyway, I’m just getting my internet working in my new place and my neck working, too, so I can sit at my computer again without losing feeling in my left hand. My guitar player hand, baby. I need ’em both. Any help would be…well, helpful! Cheers, as Brian May would say.

    Was gonna block-quote the above statement, but my little block-quote boxes are missing. Anyway, I just checked and it appears that Idol starts in January. So, luval, I don’t understand those dates either. However, those dates could probably be canceled because I’m sure they were set before any possible connection with Idol would have come about.

    When Idol starts in January it is not with live judges. They air the auditions and Hollywood week stuff, guys. It’s all the pre-taped stuff mish-moshed together into a new program for many weeks. The live shows and live judging don’t usually start until late Feb. or early March. They need 14-15 weeks of live shows.

    So, judges work in Sept and October for auditions. Then they are needed for Hollywood ( December? ) Then they are needed for live shows.

    So, being a judge does allow lots of time for being an artist too.

    The Channel V fan videos from today are wonderful. The audio is quite good, especially for fan videos. I love the slow WWFM. (The beginning reminds me of the first part of WWFM in the vortex in Idol during season 9.) Adam looks so relaxed and radiant, flashing his megawatt smile on these videos. I’m getting used to the hair color. Really, he’s gorgeous no matter what color his hair is, as long as he doesn’t shave it in some crazy way.

    And the question remains…what does Adam have up his sleeve? Why does he look like the cat who swallowed the canary? The suspense is killing all of us. Hopefully, we’ll hear something about Idol tomorrow with some good Queenbert news to follow shortly thereafter.

    eta…lol I do my nails the same way…although I don’t use plastic. I just use yellow polish on my nails, then the black magic marker after it dries.

    Hi everyone, After a week touring beautiful Ireland (it really is a most gorgeous country) I am now in Edinburgh, Scotland. I haven’t been able to keep up with the blog and just know that Adam went to Australia after Japan and that everyone loves him, and that he was called back to the States, so maybe the Idol gig is on. haven’t seen any vids, I really need some privacy for that, and I am enduring a bad case of Adam withdrawal. I will have so much to catch up on when I get home. There is no way I can catch up on back pages of the blog right now, but if someone can give me a condensed version of what has been going on in Adam’s world, I will try and check in here,and it would be muchly appreciated. Smile

    Does anyone remember how and when they announced the new judges, Stephen Tyler and JLO, I remember seeing Ryan Seacrest come out and say here are your new judges, but I can remember what it was on?
