I love all the fan/show dances to Trespassing. Wish So You Think You Can Dance would use it for something. Sometimes the music they use there is so obscure. Same with Dancing With the Stars. The audience reaction says it all. They cheer when a familiar song is played.

ulti who knows? she might have hit the wrong button by mistake, or, there were a few tweets that said she followed Idol. Maybe she followed then quickly unfollowed so she wouldn’t send out hints. She does know we jump on anything, she might have gotten questions as soon as she followed.
I don’t even know of this makes sense at this point.

luval – it’s not a bad sign that Shoshanna unfollowed Idol, it’s actually a good sign! She JUST started following Idol this morning. People on twitter started talking excitedly about how both Adam AND Shosh had just started following Idol and then about a half hour later she unfollowed Idol. It seems pretty clear to me that she unfollowed Idol because she realized people had noticed her newly following Idol and didn’t want to give anything away. Eeeeep!

I totally agree with cwm on this. Shosh unfollowing Idol when it was noticed that she followed them is a positive sign. I really think he’s got this!
If Adam has this and I hope he does, why the big secret about him, when all the others have been told about? So curious!

The only one I care about is Keith Urban, he is so good, and I have one of his CD. Did you know he was in subtance abuse a couple of times? Drinking I think. How is Adam gonna contain him self sitting next to that awsome hunk, but I gotta say, Keith is country, and clearly not what Adam is about, this is gonna be such drama, I can hardly wait!!!!
I am trying hard not to get my hopes up. But they are like balloons filled with helium at this point…

The only one confirmed by Idol is Mariah. Everyone else is speculation!
Was at Walmart this morning and decided to see how the Trespassing CDs are doing.
The first thing I found was an endcap display of Idol music. There was David Cook, Kris Allen, and many of last year’s group and this year’s group. No Adam. I was a little ticked off that they had a bunch of Bieber CDs stuck in with them.
Next I looked at the alphabetical display. There were about three slots of Miranda Lambert, but no Adam anywhere. There was Bieber–at eye level across the top in the special display.
When I went to the front endcap, there were new releases. Again, more Bieber, no Adam. Finally I looked at the section of “Recommended” CDs, and I found ONE Trespassing CD. Just one. No FYE anywhere. But again, at the eye level special display at the top–more Bieber! Kelly Clarkson was also in the Recommended section, but not in the Idol section, FWIW.
Curious. I choose to believe that Adam has sold almost completely out, and Bieber has underperformed and they can’t give those disks away.
Or maybe it’s just that Bieber’s audience is illegally downloading and Adam’s audience wants those disks as collectors items.

Yes, Miss Chaos – KU has a pleasant voice and is a fine musician. Only songs I’ve dl’d were “Somebody Like You” and (with Nelly Furtado) “In God’s Hands.” He should give a nice, relaxed vibe to the panel. (And don’t hate me, but he always looks as though he needs a shampoo.)
As far as Adam is concerned, KU’s mid-forties – not old enough to be Adam’s dad, but getting there. Friends maybe, but anything other than that? Wouldn’t think so after looking at Adam’s wish list – and he certainly was specific, wasn’t he.

I think Keith Urban is adorable! I could happily watch and listen to his Aussie accent giving critiques! I have a couple of his songs, his country/pop is pleasant.
Keith Urban is easily the only country star/music I can come close to tolerating. I’m not trying to offend, and sorry if I do, but, I just can’t stand the “twangy” country sound ( Reba, Skyler from this year, Scotty ). Urban has a more rocky and bluesy vibe that lends itself to a crossover sound. I remember when he first was making it big here in the states there was an article about him, maybe in RS, saying how he really was a rocker in OZ, but he needed to find a label and a sound here in the states, and ended up going “Nashville.”
Anyway, it worked for him. And, I’ve always liked his easy going nature in interviews. He just seems like a genuinely nice guy. The Idol gig would put him in LA for several months, and might be good for his family too. Nicole could make a movie, their daughter could be in pre-school, etc. And they could all be together.
But, somebody needs to tell him that the dirty hair look is over!! He’s a really good looking man either way!
To me, one of the biggest parts of this entire mystery relates to Adam’s third single. He made this announcement on July 29 saying that it would be “soon: week or so”. It has now been almost an entire month since that original announcement. Other than working on cover art, nothing to my knowledge has been addressed toward this situation. I don’t know what for sure, but something has to be up!! Too many happenings all at once!
Yes, dcglam – almost forgot about that – the next single – to delay it this long must mean it’s being coordinated with something – lord knows what it is.
I think the single will be out this week & he’s coming back to promote this single. He may be lined up for some talk shows…he needs to recover from jet lag.
Just catching up on the goings-on here. I’m hoping for Keith Urban too. I’m like mils (and probably more of you), I’m not much for country music. But I do like a few of Keith’s songs. My favorite three (if anyone cares) are these.

Although, if it were just the single, I do think he may have stayed in OZ and interviewed with Bryon Cooke, IMHO.
Wow, Ceddies – he looks 100% better in that cleaned-up look – handsome. But – the music – for me, just no. I call it soppy country, but can see where a lot of people might like it.
Ceddies, that last video was from 2009. I think his looks have really changed in 3 years. He looks much more mature now. But I guess so have everyone else’s looks changed!

ulti, I like his raw emotions in these songs–particularly “Tonight I Want To Cry”. As I said, I’m not a fan of country music. My mom liked everything from country to blues to Lady Gaga, plus she had been in a bluegrass band for quite a few years. That’s how I managed to hear Keith Urban over the past few years since I was back living with her. She liked to watch the country countdown weekly shows.

I live about a mile from the Mississippi State University campus. The sports teams are Bulldogs. Each year we have a big city/campus-wide celebration and street party on the night of one of the home games. The special guests this year on Nov. 2 as shown in today’s newspaper will be Neon Trees, Gloriana (country), and Andy Grammer (whoever that is). Looks like they know we don’t all like country, huh?
Andy Grammer was on a show recently just before Adam – forget which one.
Ok, so I just checked out Andy Grammer. He does R&B, Reggae, etc. Guess that really does cover a huge number of fans and their likes.

lol Ceddies, I live about one mile from the Syracuse University campus (didn’t have time to give you a tour when you were here). The students should be having their beginning of the year bash soon with a big name act. We’ll see!!
