Mils, I think your schedule is right on schedule. We can dream, and sometimes our dreams do come true. Remember when we thought he would sing the whole medley with Queen at the EMAs, but everyone else said, no way, he’ll sing a few lines at most? And remember when Sonisphere was cancelled, they all blamed it on ADAM causing low sales? And predicted that would be the end of Queen/Adam? And, even if Idol doesn’t happen, equally good things could happen……#glasshalffull, that’s me LOL.

From the article re 13 pop stars, the only one who grabbed me is Emeli Sande’. Miguel was just okay as were several others. Could have been that I didn’t like the video or song they featured. When I have time, I plan to give a listen to more than one of their songs.
Oh yes, there was this one guy, Adam Lambert, who just freaked me out with his vocals and stunning good looks. Hellz yeah, he should be given more attention on radio, etc.
But I digress…

Calgary, your comment got got me thinking about how many posts there are versus “lurks” so I looked at the numbers of some previous threads. It seems that for each post/comment there are 20 peeks/lurks/page views. For this thread, we’ve had 2028 posts and 40,000 page views – or roughly 5%. That is pretty typical.
But those page views could be anyone refreshing the page a few dozen times each to see if new comments were posted too! Kinda’ like multiple CD purchases!
And of the 5% that are comments, some posters make up a larger percentage of that than others!
Hi Guys! I just saw a couple of tweets from Downunder that indicate that Adam told the radio DJ’s Kyle and Jackie O on Australia’s “Number One Breakfast Show” that he is still in the running for a judge’s spot on Idol. I think we can take it that the Pop Ledge interview was reported truthfully.
Why Adam has mentioned it (as has Nick Jonas), I am not sure, but Idol has definitely talked with him.
The key words are: “As far as I know….” We can’t be sure whether Idol is bothering to tell the people they haven’t chosen.
If they haven’t chosen everyone on the panel yet, then my only theory is that the final 1 or 2 judges depend on who is signed next. For example: if they sign Nicki Minaj, Adam is in; or: if they don’t sign Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas is in.
That’s the only reason I can think of that they might leave candidates hanging.
