After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

    Sounds like Sauli is back home in the U.S. so we’ll have to wait until the end of the week when Adam returns to begin the next chapter of “will Adam be Idol judge” or not——-it always seems as though we are playing the guess and waiting game with him?????? Pain ROTFL

    I worked only half a day today and had lots of chores planned for the afternoon. But my Kiev DVD arrived yesterday and I decided to “check it out” to make sure it worked well in my DVD player. Well, there went half of the afternoon, but what a fine afternoon it was. Many thanks to jlurks for spreading joy all across ALL land! It was fabulous!

    AND I just got home to find jlurks Kiev DVD has made it all the way to GA!!! Unfortunately I have to go to a funeral (not family) this evening and will have to wait till DH is out of the house tomorrow until I can watch it. Shame on me…I will probably be thinking about the DVD instead of paying attention to the memorial service tonight. THANKYOU, jlurks, as mmm222 said, for spreading the joy!! We all owe you…it’s just a matter of when you can collect that beer!

    Just a thought….Maybe Idol is throwing all these ridiculous options names around (Nicki, Kanye, Jonas bro, and others…) so that when they finally do (officially) announce Adam as a judge, people will be thrilled Wink

    Adam never ceases to amaze…I worked 33 yrs in an ER and never saw silver hair with silver eyes!!! I didn’t think it was possible to be that gorgeous!!!

    I actually think that some media are just throwing out names for fun. There is an article from OK magazine now saying that Adam has got it but I don’t quite believe they know what they are talking about because they claim that Adam confirmed to CapitalFM radio and I just can’t believe that – the timelines are wrong.

    We are going to have to be patient.

    The haters/trolls are out in force today and MJ is fast deleting. Someone suggested Adam wouldn’t be a good judge and “(not to mention not representing American style and values)”.

    The same person said “But seriously speaking, Kris Allen would be the most perfect Idol judge from amongst Idols.”

    I’m surprised it took this long for someone to put Kris’s name in as a possible judge.

    TLKC, I didn’t take the OK Magazine article to say he confirmed that he would be on AI, but that he would “be on board” if asked. That was from that on air interview we heard while he was in London in June/July.

    I guess so. I did see that interview. To me the PopLedge interview is pretty clear, if it’s true.

    The best thing about MJ’s is that Adam post has 125 comments while none of the others is over 125. Also, not as many haters for him as there are for Nicki on her post. The activity is great. It’s all good.

    Thanks for the link to that UK interview nkd. I can see how the OK article makes sense now. I thought it was a “jump on the bandwagon” article after POP Ledge broke it’s news (which we all hope is true.)

    BTW – MJ’s now has 167 hits on Adam post. And that’s with her deleting some. Love it!!! Love it!!!! Love it!!!

    Okay luval this is to funny! I was working with our IT guy on some file sharing and linking things in a public folders to share with others and he was messing with something and said give me a few so I jumped on the site to see if there were any updates about Idol. Just minutes before that we talked about a few of us having dinner at Silverfox steakhouse later this week (not kidding it is in the same complex as my office). I said to him oh we can do this picture and post it with the public folder. He knows of my Adam obsession and said okay. He looked at the pics and said talk about a silver fox messing with me. And I was cracking up and posted it and did not even realize I put fox. So when I saw your post I was confused and thought I posted the wrong picture. I was thinking duh of course it’s a wolf. Then I looked at my post.

    That Japanese interview was great to watch. I really liked that DJ. Has a great radio voice.

    So bit by bit Adam adds on more shows. On the other side of the world! Good for him!

    Okay, so now there are two shows, one 10/13 in OZ, and one Nov 3rd in CA.

    I’m going for Queenbert from Oct-December in the states.

    I’m saying Idol from January -May of 2013.

    With Queenbert or Trespassing gigs sprinkled through the run of Idol. And, even one or two additional singles or even a Queen single put out. Followed by a huge tour–worldwide of either Queenbert or TSP or both.

    From what I understand about Idol judging and the schedule of it is that they basically show up for live judging an hour before show time, and since it is California, they are done taping by 7 PM, allowing ample time to travel, record, and perform. Live judging is just 2 nights a week.

    I’m actually thinking he probably has this.

    And, he just may get a Grammy nom. For NCOE.

    Although, I’m still not sure about Nikki. She hasn’t been officially announced yet, has she?

    Someone should tweet that gorgeous side-by-side to Adam.
    I am slowly coming to accept the silver hair, but not when the brows are too substantial. When they are too big/dark, it is out of proportion. I think sometimes Adam gets started on the makeup and then just keeps going…

    mils, did you include the Burning Man leopard pants on your list? Pretty awesome…have we seen them before?

    I have to be honest and say I do not like the heavy make-up picture. Not a huge fan of the silver either, I am hoping for the black with some highlights soonish. I don’t hate it just don’t love it.

    glambotgram, I actually agree about the makeup. I have liked his look so much more with the “less is more ” makeup. I guess he’s showing off his eyes more with the light hair. And maybe that was “show” makeup. He is still wearing less in interviews. And those gorgeous pics from today in OZ are with less eye makeup. I hope he sticks with it.

    When do Grammy nominations come out? I know that in 2010 it was November, we were in Paris. Is that usual?

    I love Adam’s eyes with makeup. In order for them to “pop” with that silver hair, I guess it has to be heavier. I really did miss the glam Adam and am glad it’s back sometimes. But I really really miss the dark hair.

    Mils, I like your timeline of what might happen. I could fit that in my schedule. Smile

    Eta: although I like Adam with makeup I don’t care for that picture either, glambotgram. And those eyebrows… Getting a little close to each other. Lol
