Love those twitlongers. I remember in Wilkes Barre at the first Glam Nation show I met a woman who could have been the grandmother in that second twitlonger. Her friend told me she was so despondent after losing her husband she didn’t want to live but discovering Adam made her happy again. I’ll bet there are many stories like this out there.
Hi guys! Just dropped in after watching the closing ceremonies. Awfully kitschy but a lot of fun. Loved seeing Ray Davies do Waterloo Sunset and Muse was a major highlight. LOL on only one Gallagher brother. Our commentator pointed out that the Olympics could bring 204 countries together but not Liam and Noel.
I followed Brian’s feed throughout. I recognized his Brighton Beach performance from Hammersmith and felt like the true Queen fan that I now am. Needless to say, JJ was great but did not do WWRY justice if you know what I mean.

My sister watched the closing ceremonies with me and beforehand I treated her to selected performances from Queenbert. Then I showed her a new pic – the one of him in Japan with the blue jacket and the water bottle and she went: “Oh no! What did he do to his hair?” Her final word was that he is a very striking person with a very striking personality and the silver takes away from that.
Have to say that, in the end, I prefer the black, too. Am very interested to see him perform as a Platinum but am wondering how he’s going to rock that colour with the black and yellow stripes they all plan to wear on stage at Supersonic.
There is such a beautiful healthy glow to Adam’s face and skin that I think that’s what I’m seeing with the frosty hair and all! I think he’s looking gorgeous!
If he can rock that lego head at the EMAs, he can rock the frosty!
TLKC…My brother hates the hair (and the new tattoo for that matter). I prefer the dark hair & don’t mind the tat. Maybe he’s going to have black streaks put in the hair, although the hair would have to be yellow again. ugh. Oh well, the majority of tweets I’ve seen like the new hair. I think it will just be too hard to keep up.
How would it be harder to keep up than the black hair? It will be less obvious when there is new growth. The new hair that grows in will be easy to color in the platinum tone, no bleach needed.
We had gotten complacent with the perfect hair for over a year now, although it went through some evolution, I think we need to hang on, it could get bumpy!

I sorta like the idea of his being in Japan looking like that – so tall and crowned with that pale hair – so striking in that country.

So I just watched Queen with JJ. Seemed so odd to see a barely clad woman up there with them versus our multi-layered friend. Adam’s hair perfectly matches Brian’s now. If that isn’t a sure sign that they will be touring together again soon I don’t know what is! (

Okay just saw the Queen and Jessie J performance, and from a massive Queen fan, horrible. OMG. Just NO. Brian and Roger were great but wow. That could have been a huge moment for Queen if Adam had been singing. Especially seeing Freddie first.
Jumping in for just a minute…saw the good wishes for my son and I am grateful for them. We had a wonderful visit earlier today and an even more wonderful hug, and that is what I will keep in my mind.
Tat: another huge one. Why does he insist on defacing his body in big chunks? If this one was much smaller I might find it more palatable, but no one asked me so whatever.
So I went to twitter to see Adam’s twitpic of the tat and there is a whole fricking stream of crap from mistresscurvy and Skyturnsgreen. Are these the culprits, with Lekota and ziusik?

You know whats exciting? To see what the whole band is gonna look like in a few days. Adam has something up his sleve, he didnt do this hair job for nothing. It seems he is a little tired of being Mr Goody Two Shoes, you know he does off the wall stuff in Japan and Oz, I for one am looking forward to see what he is going to do.

He has certainly had a new spirit after the Queen shows. Confidence, giving a s*** to the radio stations in U.S. I don’t know if he’s been holding back in performances spring/early summer or does he just feel different now. But I really like this, his spirit I mean 
He always sang perfectly, but somehow the radio promo performances were too safe and still. And the band is also tighter and having more fun now.
I watched the closing ceremony too. But a bit too messy and too full of action for my taste… When Jessie J was singing on her own earlier, I really liked it and her voice. But with Queen, noooo… I am happy she only did a short We will rock you and Brian did that wonderful solo he played in Hammersmith. Brian’s outfit was “royal” but JJ looked strange in that skin color gym suit
My bf was surprised there was no “We are the Champions”. Maybe they didn’t want to do it without Adam? My pleasant moment during the ceremony was the ballad by Pink Floyd. I like PF and the young guy did a great job singing it.

Adam looks beautiful, nkd – his skin does, too – hardly notice the teen scarring now. Yes – he does “glow” or whatever it is people have been mentioning.

You asked who the “culprits” were. I looked at the people you mentioned, and they did seem rather put out by Adam’s comments about the “crazies.” The queen bee, however, who is regarded by many as the most delusional, putting out the most poison, and encouraging the most negativity among her followers is miamiglamgirl (formerly LaurieLovesAdam). (She hasn’t tweeted since he called out the crays; I think she’s laying low.) Adam may shed a few of the Adommy crays over his recent tweet; some apparently feel “bullied,” misunderstood, and insulted by what he said. Pffft. Shedding them wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing IMO.

On a positive note, Adam had an interview and photoshoot with InRock today. The woman who was there to interview him got to sit in on his photoshoot and was live tweeting it. One of Adam’s Japanese fans kindly translated her tweets for us. Haha I love the tweets about him changing clothes in front of her. Gulp.
This was just about 40 mins ago, so the interview is probably still happening or has just finished.

Welcome home Kradamour! I know you had one of life’s hardest moments this weekend. Saying goodbye to a child as they launch off to a new career is always hard but this was particularly tough for you. My thoughts are with you.
I do like the platinum hair but I prefer the black. Adam really rocks the new look and probably stands out in Japan, so tall and fair. I wonder how it will look with the yellow and black-themed concert outfits he has promised for Supersonic. Maybe a black T with black and yellow zebra-striped pants!
Can’t wait to see the rest of the band’s outfits. It will be nice to see Brian in something other than that T-shirt he wears 98% of the time.
cwm I doubt that they are going anywhere soon, since they have been disenchanted with Adam for quite a while and complaining about him is their daily bread. Now they have been elevated to fighting directly with him. It’s unfortunate.
On a happier note: many thanks for all the videos of the Japanese TV event. Adam is such a good sport – you can tell he’s enjoying every minute of this. He just loves people and engages so easily. The little girl was priceless. I wish she had gotten a prize, too.

I managed to watch a video of Queen and Jessie J a little while ago, wanted to see as I’d read so many negative comments about it….and I must say I agree with them. It just didn’t mesh, I really don’t think Queen songs sound right with a female voice, and the echo at the beginning did her no favours. I actually like her songs that I know and have a few on my ipod, but wasn’t too impressed overall with that.
And she looked like she was morphing into Katy Perry!
Agree, HK fan – have mentioned before that I prefer a male voice with Queen – have never seen a female performance with them that I’ve really liked.

RE JJ, I too liked her solo performance but with Queen it was terrible. If they were so strict as to not let Adam perform they should have just let Freddie sing on the screen. But there were a lot of other bad moments too. I loved what shoshanna said today.

What a job, it took the whole evening! But it was very nice to watch all those previous performances/interviews/reviews when going through them. I had no idea what I had there, it was difficult to find anything because I already had so many of them…
